One question, is Kara Solaris based on Power Girl? That came to mind as soon as I saw her (and I know you're a Captain Atom fan...and they were in the JLI together).

Fire Retrospective was the latest one I did at work.
Before that was Milla Joyce and Sister Kinetic (which, if anyone is interested in, I tried to create a tutorial here.)

Well Kara was created back when I first started playing CoH last year by my then gf when she fancied trying out the game.
She made her over in Onion as I had Defiant. Not sure if she meant to base it on PowerGirl herself as she gave her longer hair in-game, but has a costume almost similar. On the sketch decided to give her shorter hair as thought she looked better with it short.
Looked at your guide Swissy, quite comprehensive. I speak a litle French, so was able to understand it to a degree. The illustrations and the Layering at the end helped understand it despite my poor French.

There is some really good movement in those sketches. A good dynamic approach if you will.
I like them muchly!
Having a lot of spare time on my hands and the occasional drawings at work, I've decided on making a illustrated story for my SG. Mainly going to be outlining Capt's experiences. From the birth of GoEH; the meeting of prolific members such as number9dream, MOLEY, Spectre, MaXimillion, SchrodingersCat and of course the delectable BLIZZARIA; fallouts and team ups with other SGs/heroes like the FPA and the Contingency.
As you can imagine will be pretty epic, but wil probably condense each story to 4sides of A4.
Still in the early stages. Since I'm not so hot with rendering will start off just in pencil, but once I've done some of the core stories, will consider putting colour in them.
I'll basically scan most of the artwork on the computer and edit, meaning I can either use photoshop etc to render/colour in the work....or if anyone fancies, they can copy the pages and do the colours for me.
Anywho..here's a sample to begin with.

The GoEH Comic is still being drawn (and written), so hopefully will have something finalised in the next few days.
I haven't been able to complete them just yet as I seem to always take on too many things at the same time...I need to get more organised me thinks ...excuses, excuses... ^^
