Suicide Zombie : Single minion "Go to" bind

Hi folks,
So my Necro / Dark MM seems playable again for the first time since i7. Not sure why but the Twilight Grasp crashes are much rarer in the last few days. Yay

Anyway I want to start getting Spirit up a bit easier. So I'm looking to add some binds to the standard Numberpad system.

Firstly I want to bind Control & right-click as a Go To & Agressive stance for one Zombie (called Mr Grey) as a suicide mission so I can rip out his Spirit. I have Control & Left click as a group Go To so control & right click makes sense here for me. I will probably add a bind to say "sending zombie on suicide mission. One moment" for PuGs but I can manage that bit meself.

Also a quick "All pets to Bodyguard mode" (defensive follow) would be nice. Bound to numpad-. This will also a handy emergency Heel command for when a Knight decides to take on a second group.

Also does anyone know if the different Spirits from different henchies differ in any way bar apperance? The powers are the same I know. Do the higher tier Spirts have higher HP or anything?

Well for bodyguard mode u can juse make a macro bind, put the BG icon on the power tray then press a numpad key to activate. Anyway, this is the macro bind.

/macro BG "petcom_all defensive follow"

if u put that into the chat box and press enter a button will appear saying BG, click that and all of ur pets go into bodyguard mode.

Sadly that is all I can do on the matter, good luck with your necro MM.

I think petcom_name Mr Grey GoTo should work for the suicide zombie.

The spirits are supposed to be stronger from higher rank minions, but I've never got around testing it.

The only thing I've noticed from different ranked spirits is that they look cool and they have more hp. Think they have same attacks though.

[/ QUOTE ]Yup, they all have same attack, however I haven't tested power effectiviness.

Ta. The equivelent Bind should be something along the lines of :

/bind numpad/ "petcom_all defensive follow"
But as you say you can easily go into Options and set the key there.

So
/bind lctrl+rmouse "petcom_name Mr Grey GoTo Aggressive"

then probably, so he's all stroppy when he lands in the group. Thanks folks. Soon I'll have the best trained Zombies on Deviant. Then its off to Undead-Crufts for me

One level away from Mr Lich too although the solo grind last night on Villains is pretty darned boring. Get to 26 and maybe start PvPing with him I think.

There'a far easier way to get your minions in bodyguard mode.
You don't even need a new bind or macro. Simply edit the "follow" pet-control-button".
Then you change aggresive in defensive and your done.
Evrytime you click the follow button they also jump into bodyguard mode.

Cheers.

My
/bind lctrl+rmouse "petcom_name Mr Grey GoTo Aggressive"
bind doesn't work. For some reason all three of the dumb-***** GoTo instead. Has me stumped really.

The reason I believe is that if any other pet has Mr or Grey in the name they will move with as well. So if you want to get one zombie set for suicide run the best bet would be to rename them Mr Grey. and chnge the bind to:

/bind lctrl+rmouse "petcomname . GoTo Aggressive"

So long as no other pet has . in their name they will not be affect by the command.

Aaah. I see. So
/bind lctrl+rmouse "petcomname Grey GoTo Aggressive"
should work too? Excellent. Just in time for the IP Mayhem mish later.

By the way Doc, the Fire/Rad guide you were asking me about online is in the guides section.

I've also made Numeric binds for the Spirit too but they are slightly bugged at the mo (used . instead of decimal) I'll post them once I've fixed the remaining issues.

As for the differences between Spirits I checked and the Zombie spirit had 315 HP, the Knight had 400HP. Other than that they were the same.
