In what style do you want this tune to be?
Dark light Batman or really big like Superman style....rock or dance that kinda thing?
And the length, how long do u want it to be?

Well, the style is up to you. We have very eclectic taists so there really is no limit in that respect. There's nothing wrong with a buffy style theme, a John Williams masterpiece, the darkness of Danny Elfman or Graeme Revell even something along the lines of 'Bring Me To Life'.
Whatever feels right for you.
As far as legnth goes, I have no set legnth in mind. I would suggest that you take into account the subject matter though. I am really looking for a good overall piece with a few bars or notes that signify the characters.Legnth doesn't really matter but if it's long it would be good if it is then editable to fit different projects.

I love that..the sharp tune that starts it off reminds me of the Resident Evil films main Theme o.o

Yes, I know somewhere I said there was one week to go in another thread but I was mistaken and there is actually one week to go until the close of our competition to find us a Theme Tune.
We are accpeting entries until the end of this Friday and the winner will be announced on Monday 21st along with the launch of our new site.

How To Enter
Its simple. After creating your masterpiece post a link to it on this thread before 17th August 2006 (or contact us separately). The winner will be picked that weekend and will be announced on Marvellous Monday (21st August) with the launch of our new site.
Any questions can be posted on this thread and will be answered as soon as possible.
Things To Remember: The terms and conditions
1) Anything submitted must be entirely your own work. The final theme will not be used for commercial purposes so any royalty free samples (such as ejay samples or other sample collections created for remixing and distribution including those found on the internet) may be used but we do ask that you include a list of any with your work so we can check copyright.
2) Anyone can enter this competition as long as they have access to these boards and entries can be posted on behalf of a third party as long as they have read and agreed to these terms and conditions.
3) In order to ship the prizes, we will require the competition winner to provide us with there contact details, unless some agreement can be arranged between ourselves, the winner and a third party to pass it on.
4) The prizes consist of a specially created thermo-chromic mug and a single disc (ex-rental) copy of the DVD Howls Moving Castle as well as credits on our site and any works we create using that theme.
5) This promotion is being run by Mr and Miss Marvellous and is in no way connected to NCSoft, Cryptic or any other commercial companies connected with City Of games. This competition is being run to promote our sites new incarnation and entries in it will not now nor ever be used for commercial purposes. As such, no financial commitments (outside the providing of the prizes as stated) will be entered in to.
