If the nominated wish to speak publically, then go for it, but we feel contacting them privately to ask if they'd like to accept the nomination is fair on them.
Rest assured, if any nominated are not in the vote, then they didn't want to serve! I've no wish to get lynched by fibbing about it!!

I stand corrected / reminded and blame it on three days of hard rocking. My concern was already catered to.
One of the great things about being ShadowGhost, is that I get to relay messages from those that have passed on.

Max has lurked about on the channel since it's conception (Ping!), has a good sense of right and wrong and has that handy potential to stay neutral in my opinion, unless it's about if kittens are hugglier than sheep. No one goes for sheep...

To be honest I don't really want to be a moderator on the channel. It would mean that i'd have to pay attention to whats happening in it, even when I don't want to. It'd also mean that I couldn't misbehave and get told off for it (which I find hilarious and fun). I just like seeing who holds me in high regard. Makes me feel good.
As for arguing about this... is it really that important? Im probably gonna be flamed for saying that but I really don't care. I love the community, but the main problem is that people argue far too much over the stupidest things.
Power can also go to some peoples heads. Being a mod doesn't make you a god. It's supposed to be you serving others basically. Someone misbehaves - treat them mean and keep them keen. Mods are servants to the community, not overlords or dictators. So what that someones roleplay and ideas are different? Don't call them on forums and don't send them abusive tells. Ignore them or give constructive comments. Backstabbing and [censored] is not big and its definatly not clever. If you don't like it.... tough.
Now stop arguing or i'll have to dispense my own brand of justice which includes vicious beatings, followed by the occasional hug.
Ok. Was hungover when I wrote that and it took ages. So by the time i'd finished it the arguing was over.
OK, All the nominations are in... We will try to contact all the nominee's in the next day or so and once we have a final list, we will post a new thread for votes!

Apologies for the delay on this people. ShadowGhost and I have decided that we will promote all those who have accepted their nomination to MOD status in the GGOOC channel
Why are we doing this? Because we've decided to step away from the GG meets for a time, and in-fact, neither of us have been in-game much as late. We may be around from time to time, but nowhere near as much as being a MOD requires.
I cannot speak for Ghost on this, but once all the nominee's have been promoted, I will be dropping my MOD status in the channel.
