Plays With Matches: Help me with my Fire/Fire dom?
Get that one extra slot out of flares and put it in brawl...or some other power that's more useful than flares, ie. all of them. EndRdx in fire cages would be my pick.
Also take the 4th damage out of imps and put it somewhere useful. (fire cages comes to mind again).
Oh, and recharge is better than KBDist in bonfire.
Yeah, didn't know where to put the slots. Fire cages seems to be as good as anyplace for the one from the imps.
I'll probably keep the slot in flares, mainly as when I do use it, I'll want it to hit to help bump the domination bar.

Ok, my opinion bout ur build... Here it comes...
Im not sure, but if this isnt a respec u should think bout take FE at lvl16 and stamina at lvl20. Well, lets start:
1) dont waste the 2nd slot in flares, it isnt good for build domination. It has an activation time higher than 2,5secs. Not a good fast attack for dom building, believe me. I use it to fill the gaps in my chain, just coz its better than stay stopped waiting to the other powers recharge... I dont like this power, and i think u will agree with me soon.
2) Erm... (IMHO) ur build is bored. U have just flares (not a real attack), incinerate and fire breath as attacks. Ey, make room for ur fire blast and enjoy the game! U will notice that fire breath is an endurance eater power, and long rech in a battle. Its like a situational power, and then u just have 1 power (incinerate) to kill enemies. U will spend much time (and end) in killing enemies, so try to balance more ur toon, picking in 'fire blast', probably the best attack u gonna have till u get 'blaze' (and its a long way to lvl38).
3) Im not a fun of inmobs, no i dont like them, but the ones i really dont ever choose would be the AoE aggro-magnet Inmobiliztion powers. If u want an inmob, choose ur ST inmob, but not that one... Yeah, i kno FC are good for ur imps... I kno its like a 2nd hold with flashfire. Listen, u arent a fire/ corr (or blaster). U cant hold 5 enemies for 20 secs JUST COZ u cant kill more than 1(maybe 2) of them before they come back from the hold, and the other 3 (or 4) gonna make u some hurt (maybe faceplant?). Since u dont have very much AoE dmg neither, u dont gonna burn much of them at the same time, so I dont feel its a good idea. This could change when u get ur pets, but not always, since remember that the AoE inmob is an aggro-magnet for u, not for ur pets...
4) I havnt tested much combustion, but i wouldnt bother much with it, since i think stamina 3-slotted is enough. I wouldnt waste a power selection in that power, but thats up to u.
5) If u are thinkin in PvP, just test the sniper power, for 2 reasons: domination + fiery embrace + blazing bolt = huge ammount of dmg from the distance. Also, its hoped that ur imps attack ur target, pursuing him. I rolled a dom in the RV test server event, and got many more rep in less just with that tactic (like 20 rep soloing in 1 hour, thats cool).
6) IMO, u should think bout drop any powers mentioned b4 and grab ur 4th PP. Maybe invis for PvP, or tactics more for teamers, or maybe TP for the usefull TP foe/recall friend powers, or the nice 'Hasten'. If i could take 5 PP i would do it, no doubt.
Well, bout the enhcns, i dont usually spare 2 intsredx in aid self. I dont think its usefull. Fire breath should take a rech instead of range (not the same with blaze, i would agree with u in range there). Dont waste 4 dmg in imps.
And finally, i would say that u should spare ur dmg enhances in ur dmgs much more time before, more in the beginning... But again, its ur time, not mine. If u wanna spend 1 min by enemy, ok, its up to u.

Accuracy is a big thing for me - if i chose to use a power, I want it to hit, hence the second slot in flares, but I'll see how it goes.
As far as limited attacks go - my fire/therm only has 2 attacks, and won't get his third until 18 - I'm used to having limited damage early on
I personally don't really like immobs either, but the ghetto hold possibilities are there, and I am pretty much always in a team, so damage output isn't really that much of a problem.
Aidself gets away with 1 intred on my brute, as he has the defence to help with that - on this guy, getting the heal off is going to be important, and I have no defence bar CJ until 41.
Consume is in there because 1) it's a tiny bit more aoe goodness, 2) it will keep me topped up on end while domination is building. This should allow me to get away without endreds (hopefully).
Snipes are great, but I doubt I'd have time to get the shot off with all the aggro I'll be getting It may go in if I respec into a more PvP centric build later on.
I'll throw up a revised build later with the changes i think I'll make.
My fire dom is only level 13 and still mostly on TOs but throwing in some comments anyway.
I feel that my fire dominator, much more than my ice/ice or plant/thorn, really relies on Domination at early levels. Flashfire seems relatively useless before heavy slotting and good enhancements and the immobilizes just get me killed without Flashfire. I'm basically getting by with minimal control (mostly just single target holds) and spamming attacks as much as I can to keep the Dom bar up so that I can hit Domination as soon as it recharges. I even have Brawl on auto, brute style. I feel that Fire Blast, being a quick blast with decent damage, is vital to this and I would not skip it. Flares really is pretty horrible and I'm planning to drop it from my attack chain as soon as I can but right now I'm still using it a lot. Not wasting slots on it though, I hope it will be long gone from my tray by the time enhancements start making a big difference.
Have to add that I've been soloing almost all the time so far. It soloes pretty well but the team contribution is a bit questionable as teams tend to slow me down and kill my dom bar and I don't have sufficient AoE control to make much difference otherwise
Really like your Fire Breath slotting and I'll probably not get the snipe either. Seems too slow to me. Oh, and I'd try to fit in Hasten.
Well, he is level 4 now, and oh my, what a burny little fellow he is!
I'll see if I can find somewhere to put in fireblast and hasten, but really don't see what I could drop
perhaps abandon the medicine pool and embrace debt fully...

pretty much agree with Idris, listen him. I feel i have the same issues/improvements that he has stated.
My build in lvl19 (cant remember enhances, im at work) is char, flares, incinerate, fire breath, fire blast, flashfire and fiery embrace. Got fitness and leaping pools.
I supose this build should be very similar to his build, since Adris is saying almost the same problems i have faced with this toon.
I just disagree with Adris bout 'Hasten'. Sure this power is pretty usefull, but i feel this power isnt so much necesary as others toon i got, just because the main attack chain (fire blast, char, incinerate in auto, flares) recharges really fast, and Im never being 'stopped'. I would go for medicine pool and im thinkin in the last PP im gonna grab (maybe concealment for PvPing with the sniper power), but this gonna be lates 20's.
Im not sure if this dominator could make a decent ammount of dmg with those AoE powers. Not much sure, maybe when the imps come to play, but not b4...
BTW, captain, if u have though ur build, and u agree with all ur powers/slots, Im with u, its ur toon, its ur game, u play it as u want, u sure will enjoy it. Its a good idea, but i think its gonna be a hard way till u complete ur chain (almost lvl30?). Think bout make that way easier picking fire blast, adding slots earlier, ...

The reason I want to get Hasten is for the AoE controls to recharge quicker. The fact that it speeds up Domination recharge doesn't hurt either, although after I7 the recharge tends to be short enough anyway. Also really want to get rid of Flares in the attack chain because of the extreme suckage - it makes a bad Domination builder.
Well, he is level 6 now, took hurdle instead of swift. I'm starting to see how much flares sucks...
Just toying with the idea of picking up the temp travel powers from the atlas and KR mayhems and going without SJ and acro, and using hurdle and combat jumping for travel (with judicious use of the temps) and using it to pick up hasten and fire blast...

Ok, changes - ditched combustion, as further investigation showed that it would be fairly disappointing damage wise. Got rid of bonfire. Ditched acrobatics (although I suppose I could just get it at 49 - think I'll have got used to carrying spare breakfrees by then tho ) In their place, hasten, fire blast and superspeed.
Shifted the order around a little, and incorporated some slotting changes in light of the advice/a bit more experience of how he plays.
As far as travelling goes, three slotted hurdle and a jump in sprint should get me places reasonably quickly, whilst making full use of the mayhem mission temp rewards and the two jetpack missions to see me through to SS at 30. If it proves too painful, I can always deviate from the plan.
How's version two look?
I'd propably drop medicine pool powers to later, and take health, stamina and SS earlier.
I'd switch places for Aid Other and Fire Blast, and also probably consider pushing Medicine back like MaX says.
Regarding Combustion, are you sure the damage is disappointing? The planner numbers are often incorrect for dominators' assault powers because they're lifted from other ATs. I'd be surprised if it wasn't a lot better damagewise than the AoE attack in your PPP. Then again, looking at your build it might have been a good call to leave it out anyway since you're otherwise mostly ranged and it's not going to help your inevitable aggro problems.
My fire/fire dom hit 15 yesterday and he's great so far
Wasted my freespec on him because I thought I could run Hot Feet without stamina and SOs but it really is impossible also had to get rid of Smoke, it wasn't as usefull as I hoped.
I'd really try to get FE earlier, the more damage the less control you need. I've kept bonfire because it will fit my character so no Acro for me. I'll post my build here, could use some advice as well.

Did I do anything silly? Or does this look ok for an aoe flame fest?
Basically using flashfire and firecages as a 2nd aoe hold of sorts, with cinders when it/domination are up, then getting into the thick of things and letting off pbaoes, fire breath and other fun stuff, with eventually the imps running around causing mass devastation. Aid self to try and limit the pain of all that aggro, then black scorpion for a cool tribal mace/tomahawk (heavily fudged natch!) and a toxic tarantula for sheer evilness.
