which travel power for a Katana/SR

I just picked up flurry with the intention of getting ss. Would sj (and more importantly combat jumping and acrobatics) be more advantageous for a SR than the ss pool?

You don't need Acrobatics, CJ is absolute rubbish defence to start off with...

Go SS - Hasten + Quickness + Spamming Divine Avalanche. God-mode.

Flurry is just.. don't go there.. just.. don't.

Yeh i picked up flurry on my first toon, i couldnt respec it out fast enough.
Ive got a low lvl kat/SR and ive found CJ dosnt help much with defence but im not going with a travel power just sprint, quickness and one from the health pool (either hurdle or the other one..its early)
wasnt sure about hasten as im having end difficulties as it is, so went for build up which is working well.

....Flurry?

And I thought you were an experienced player

(Seriously, flurry sucks, and even more so with a weapon set)

well i have never rolled a char without hasten, fancied a change especially as since i6 its no longer perma. Fancied SS so figured i'd try flurry...

We learn from our mistakes.

Besides, i'm not overly experienced witht he scrapper AT, got a claws/inv to 20 once... Less said about that experience the better

So hasten and ss is better than something/sj for a sr then?

When do we get the free respec?

SR has total mez protection, so there's no acro or such needed. Thus, any travel power works fine.

For SR. I say Superjump more then SS.

Hasten is NOT a must for SR and with combat jump you safe some very needed slots

I say.

Combat jump 1 end red
SJ 2 Jump
Sprint 2 run
Swift 1 run
Quickness 1 run

Lovely combo in pvp/pve^^

Its ver optional but works out fine if you get used to it^^

Stop hating on Flurry!!!

Flurry has its uses for characters which don't have a full attack chain anyway. It's good damage per endurance, and if you're going to have 4 sec holes in your chain anyway, fitting a 3 sec Flurry instead of a 1.5 sec Air Sup between two of those, meh, doesn't even start to lower the DPS in the long term.

Unfortunately that mostly means tankers, and even then the varieties that don't have to re-draw a weapon after it.

E.g., if you're a Stone/Stone Tanker with two attacks until the mid-20's, the 3 second animation time on Flurry doesn't even _start_ to cramp your style. Stone Fist is on a 4 sec recharge, Stone Mallet is 8 or, if you took that instead of SM, Heavy Mallet is 12. Squeezing in Flurry during one of those long waits for recharge, doesn't really lower the DPS.

But, yeah, for a Katana/SR Scrapper it's a bit of a bad choice.

FLURRY! FLURRY! FLURRY! Just make sure to take hasten as well, if you've got hurdle from fitness you'll do just fine with superspeed in any situation.
