A couple of Mind/Psi questions
As there's no single target fear, and as terrorise is the best power ever (possibly not, but its a hard one to beat at least) I'd say keep that no matter what.

i just picked up drain psyche and i'm not all that impressed and can't see it being practical in i7 basicly because its such a short buff (around 10-15 seconds or so)that it would make using TK impossible.
The powers i use the most in PVP are TK,confuse,domination,mesmerize and terrorise

It's difficult to get a PvP and PvE build with Mind/Psi (points to sig). I find that most powers that are useful in one, aren't in the other and it depends how much teaming you're planning on doing.
At the moment Wamdue is built as a controller, I can't kill anything 1on1 but I annoy the hell out of so many people when I'm on a team bouncing around holding everything

Really? I have figures from the US sites (who tend to be on the ball about this sorta thing to the point of mania) that suggests that Drain Psyche's buff lasts 30 seconds, and with 3 recharges its up again in 60....
Plus with I7 allowing you to slot for accuracy in it...

No idea bout mind/ as prim set, never used it, so im not gonna bother telling what i have heard.
In DP, i have tested, and its not such awesome as other forum ppl say. I think u should use it more like a complement to stamina, and think about the debuffs effects it do, and its possible uses...
In /psi assault set, i would go to psi dart, mind probe, subdue and psy shockwave. U can test psy scream and tk thurst, but i have found them not much usefull for me and my way to play.

I already run a Mind/Psi without Stamina relying on Drain Psyche in I6 - so that would be a yes from me.

[/ QUOTE ]it's easly more than 10-15sec and can give you a serious boost if you can hit enough mobs with it.
The tactic I'm currently useing is Cone confuse(I'm plant not mind), AoE immoblise, Pop a yellow, jump into the middle, Drain
If I'm lucky I'll hit 4 and there goes any end worries for a while (nice hp regen boost too), Drain is curently still on it's 1 starting slot with and end bonus enh in it, the real problem is that I need yellow & run tactics to actually hit anything much.
If I'm teaming and going up against +3 or +4 I don't tend to bother even useing it as the hit chance is so low.
with i7 and it takeing Acc enh, then this might be intresting in PvP, depending on what the drain is actually like...
I didn't get on with Drain Psyche at all and dropped it when I respec'd.
But I'm a stand at the back and control things palyer with my Dom, not a jump into the middle and hit an AoE type

Having decided that my current favourite villain AT is the dominator, I'm having a lookk around for a new combination to play - Wynter is currently shelved till I7, and Scathain (fire/fire) is wandering round Cap every chance he gets. In the meantime, I'm looking at mind/psi, and I just have a few queries....
1. What with I7 adding accuracy enhancements to drain psyche, is a stamina-less build possible/practical now?
2. are any of the AoE control powers useful for PvP? In all honesty I'll be keeping mass confusion anyway for giggles
3. Any general tips?
