Teleport

So for my first CoV character I thought I'd try a Mastermind (I'm playing a Scrapper in CoH and I wanted something a bit more cerebral). So I hit level six and went, ooo lets take the Teleport Power Pool....

Then on my way in to work this morning I thought, what happens to your pets if you teleport across the board willy nilly? Do they TP too? Do they appear through follower-space (used a lot in NWN) or do they run very slowly leaving you exposed and generally in deep doo doo?

Sorry if it's a really dumb question but I've not been playing that long.

They try to follow if ordered to do so, some pets have travel powers and others dont. I only have experience of robots myself.

If they end up too far away from you, they are teleported to you afaik. Though the distance when that happens is quite big.

Across the board willy nilly?

If you mean, can pets be TP'ed by RecallFriend.. yes they can.

(btw, on lvl6 kinda baserule.. get the upgrade power instead of any other power )

I was thinking of for future when I can TP and wondering if they could. Ah well I'm sure my little minions will keep up somehow.

When you get certain distance from your henches, they TP to you. (Can't rememeber the exact number, maybe around 200 yards?)

Or you can get Group Teleport or Group Fly, bringing along your entire pet-team whereever you want. Robots get great jetpacks when you popout Group Fly

For that range, i read somewhere it was 250yrd they auto-tp to use, but dont pin me down on it

I'm only level 6 I think it will be while before I get that... will look cool though.

Heck my Scrapper hasn't got to level 14 yet, almost... just got to stop biting off that little bit more than I can chew.

170-yards. Flat. But if you're running and they're running it may well feel like more

So with out-the-box unenhanced Teleport, your henches will reappear with you every two hops.

Group Teleport is not any good as the henches do not get the few seconds hover that players do (leastways not consistantly).

and group fly is a bit pissy at some times, its good in combat, but not that good in travel, as your henchies are slower than you are, so you gotta stop for em every now and again.
