2 Stone Brute builds for lvl38+, best one plz?
I'd probably try to fit in stone fists cause I cant see much of an attack chain without it. It was a problem that plagued my stone melee brute. But if you've tried them on test and they work then that's probably not needed.
For the perma granite build possibly 3 slot swift to give you some more movement
"Well, they found my diary today.
They were appropriately appalled
at the discovery of the eight victims
They're now putting it all together.
Women wrapped in silk
with one leg missing
Eight legs, one body, silk,
spider, brilliant!"
I would go for the perma-granite one, with such high resist just let a bunch of mobs wack you and your Fury is up in no time.
I would spend some end-reds here and there, GA's tend to run out of endurance once in a while and then u realy got a big problem And if you play team-based alot, see if you can get some extra slots (taunt/rech) in the taunt power, in GA it recharges pretty annoying slow.

perma granite, take slots out of rock armour as you will never need to use it and put it in swift, 3 slotted swift is one of the best powers you can get for a stone brute. Hasten is vital too in granite.
this is mine but I am virtuallt perma teamed with a reliable kinetic on it.

My build is pretty similar with stone skin and tough...however if anyone could tell me if sherksilvers numbers are correct that would be great, as it looks like granite caps S/L resists with 2resists in Tough and 3resists in Granite itself.
(may have to test it out!! and possible respec out of stone skin)
This puts S/L over the 75% cap for brutes/scrappers (Tanks are 90%, Khelds are 85%)
***Edited as I scared SG members earlier hopefully those numbers are still current!***
Otherwise I recommend taunt and 3 recharges too, and hasten
Hey Guys,
Tx for the replies!
Respected my SM/SA brute in 3 slotted swift (tx for that aweseome tip), stone skin and tough to reach the cap.
I have round 87%r esistance in granite now....
I though the cap on brutes was 90%, will post a new question for this on the forum! This build feels stronger than a 75% res anyway :-)

There were a few posts around about the cap resist of brutes, my initial reading was a 75% cap resist (would sound logic, they have a nearly infinite damage cap).
Yet on the US forums some claim a 80-85% resist cap, would be in line more with a kheldian yet makes a stone brute (not tanker) a minor bit overpowered.

Hey Guys,

Tx for the answers on my Mud pot question. I changed my mind bout mud pots and decided to fit it in my build.
I have 2 builds prepared which I tested on the test-server and both work great (when I bring along a kinetics corrupter lol)
The first build enables me to fight without granite as I have brimstone (fire/cold protection for 27% res.), The second build has 9% extra res to Smash/lethal damage. The second build brings the Smash/Lethal dmaages res on 85.6%! Kinda feels like an I4 INV Tank
I prefer the second , cause from lvl38 I spend most time in Granite...
Any sugegstion will be greatly appreciated.

As I said, the difference between these 2 builds is mainly the fire/cold protection when in 'Human' form.
Any1 has experience with these builds?
