Eden Trial Shenanigans!

Just wanted to post a thank you to all those in the team last night that successfully completed the Eden Trial. I really enjoyed the tanking and appreciated the patience of my team mates as the aggro cap slowed things down considerably in there. So thank you and take a bow:

Echo Taker Team Leader - Thanks for the invite!

Storm Quake Mother of my illegitimate stone love child.

Doc Illusion For the good natured healing & for not rubbing in the changes to aggro.

Lady Grimm Biff! Blamm! Kappow! Scrappery Goodness!

Late For more of that scrappery mayhem and all the advice on Stone Tanking

Miss Directed For turning up at the last minute and continuing to be my long suffering kinetics support.

And finally, Special Mention to the Level 42 Fire/Fire Blaster who quit the team an hour into the trial only after:

Attacking the First Wall before anyone was ready.

Ignoring every single request to hold back until the herd was ready.

Flying around and dragging aggro back to the team.

Blatantly attempting to leach off debt after faceplanting again.

Being the most Blatantly Shabby Stereotypical Hollows Rank Amateur Fire Blaster I have had the displeasure to meet in a very long time.

So thanks guys - was a blast.

And that was a stereotypicaly unfair and inaccurate stereotyping of Blasters, Fire or otherwise.

I've come across idiots in all AT's (including Blasters), but for some reason, we're still treated like the ginger stepchild by default.

Why is this?

Ouch, sorry I turned down your offer now dude.

If I knew you were going to have that kind of blaster I would of happily stepped up. Sorry again.

See, that's where you got me all wrong - the player in question was living up to a stereotype of blasters; one that I don't believe is an accurate (what stereotype is?) portrayal of blasters. I wish we had had a proper blaster on the team (failing a proper one, I had asked Jum along ) we just ended up with someone determined to confirm every worst preconception any one could have about blasters.

Yeah, thanks for the great evening guys. Even *with* a rabit cat trying to get in through my window, great fun.

Oops, didn't see this trhead the first time round!

Thanks to everyone in the team for making that one of the best trials I've ever done. I was amazed at how good you guys were - especially Hawaiin Punch, one of the best tanks I've had the fortune of meeting in this game - and equally amazed at your patience and tolerance of my leadership... especially since it was my first time on the trial (and I'd only read about it earlier that day too!). With a bit of research, good teamwork and excellent companions this thing was a breeze.

Shame about our blaster friend, though with two kineticists and two scrappers on the team we didn't miss him.

My favourite moment personally was when Punch, who had gotten through the entire trial with barely a scratch on his Granite Armour, died for the first time when he was one-shotted by the Titan. That was terrifying!!

A rabbit cat? Do you happen to live near a genetics research lab in RL?
