I tried to keep the build as authentic as I could to the one you have listed.
Burn: Dropped it - with Blazing Aura and Hot Feet available to you, Burn is overkill.
Fire Sword Circle: Your main toggle-dropper and a useful attack, especially in grouped battles like you often see in Sirens.
Grant Invis: Great support tool, you're right.
Nova: Dropped some slots from it as I felt they were needed elsewhere.
Char: Hold Duration is of neglible benefit for non-control ATs in PvP as a general rule, IMO - Blasters have poor modifiers for mezzing, so it's better to have it up more frequently to affect more people, than to try to lock down one person indefinitely.
2 Accs in all attacks: Pretty much mandatory for PvP, I'm afraid.
2-slotted Hurdle: Because -Speed powers can really hurt an SSer.
6-slotted Aim: Being able to see the SR stalker with Hot Feet is one thing, being able to hit him is quite another.
Sniper Blast: You'd be surprised how quickly you can fire a snipe off in the middle of combat with 2 IntReds in it, also useful for tagging runners.
Bonfire: Surprisingly useful to sit on.
Slotting levels are a bit wonky, but you're a 50 anyway.

Thanks Syn! I had a bunch of ideas bouncing around in my head from learning a) what was wrong with my Blaster and b) what makes PvP tough for my stalker, but didn't have any of the details such as 2xACC on most things, slotting aim for ToHit, slotting hurdle or the wasted Hold Dur's.
Thanks again Just the kind of insight I was looking for.
Will probably make this build tomorrow, still open for other suggestions
I just tested it with a stalker in the training room yesterday, Blazing Aura doesn't work against Stalkers even with 3 Acc SOs. However, Hot Feet works wonders even without any Acc SO.
But the problem here is that Hot Feet doesn't work as a Stalker spotter but it definitively interrupts AS.
I don't agree with Syn on Hold powers for Blasters, they're definitively useful, especially when fighting against another blaster.
In terms of Epic Pool I used to have Force Mastery. In my opinion it's the best PvE pool. However in PvP it's not useful for our builds. As you know energy/fire blasters have no hold powers and Force Mastery doesn't offer one.
I chose Electric Mastery. Basically, Elecric & Flame mastery offer same type of powers. However, I think Electric is better with its shield power, Charged Armour also gives defence to energy attack, which is widely used in PvP...
Also, consider getting the Leadership pool. Assault increases your damage output and provides resistance to Taunt & Placate, while Tactics gives bonus accuracy & perception, so you can see Stalkers without Stealth...
And finally, create another blaster if you're thinking seriously about PvP. Fire Manipulation is too weak compared with Energy & Electric secondaries

With the abundance of anti-mez powers from teammates and the availability of BFs, Holds are nothing more than a momentary distraction - so that's why I believe holddur is a waste, especially when you don't get a great modifier bonus in the first place. YMMV.

Force Mastery has many applications in PvP, but it does require a change in playstyle.

A single application of Tactics won't do much, and I'd really only advise people to think about going that route if they have TD from Devices to stack with it. Assault is okay if you can fit it in, but Taunt changes for PvP make it less attractive.

You can still make the best of what you have - you don't have to have the most uber build to enjoy PvP either, and I wish more people would figure that out.

I think it is a good idea for a blaster to have acrobatics and aid self for PvP, there are so many knockback/down powers in this game acrobatics for a squishy is invaluable. I went with medicine pool as obviously a self heal can be the key to what wins the fight.
I don't think there is much point in taking blazing aura if your already taking hot feet. It may be an idea to slot accuracys in your hot feet (hero builder wouldn't let me ) so hot feet will unhide a stalker, you can then lay down burn patch to ensure hide doesn't come back up and basically lay the stalker to rest. Slows in hot feet could also be a good idea when dealing with a non SR stalker.
I took power bolt ahead of energy torrent it does more damage, their aren't many options there except for combustion which is cack in PvP routes you and most of the damage is DoT which can be annoying, the upfront damage is poor. So power bolt is the way to imo, with energy the 3 solid range attacks are power bolt, powerblast, power burst.
With fire sword circle, it is one GREAT PvE power, but I wasn't sure wether to take this or sniper blast. I think fire sword circle has a toggle drop capability?????
Oh yeah no accuracies in nova, always use aim +BU before you use it, it'll hit everytime and slots can be used elsewhere.
Hope that helps

Yes, Iirc your toggledroppers are fire sword circle and fire sword(in addition to brawl of course ), with circle being tad better. You can find a link to the toggledropper list somewhere in these forums but I cant be bothered to find it right now.

As I mentioned in my previous post, a hold power becomes useful when I'm fighting another blaster. It doesnt have to be a solo PvP, in my very limited PvP experience so far I witnessed a blaster choosing another blaster as his/her main target in team PvPs many times
You may describe mez attacks as a momentary distraction however its long enough to get you killed
Unfortunately, Fire Manipulation only has DoT as the secondary effect while rest of the blaster secondary pools have effects like stun, disorient, -fly, slow etc. Thats why I think a hold power can turn the tide of the battle to my side
Regarding epic pools, I still have Force Mastery in my actual build and I have Electric in the test server build. Force Mastery is very good epic pool, but I still think its mostly PvE oriented.
My Personal Force Field, for instance, can easily be penetrated by a controller or Build Up & Aim combo from another blaster in a PvP.
I never got any chance to use Repulsion Field in a PvP as I never get close to the enemy, I only do it when I wanna use fire sword attacks to drop toggles, in which case I have to turn it off.
Temp Invulnerability provides 20% resist to smash & lethal while Charged Armour provides 19% resist to smash & lethal, plus 14% resist to Energy. In this case I think Charged armour is better than Temp Invulnerability
With Force of Nature and Hot Feet on, I can fight AVs in melee distance in a team. However, because of its obvious animation which covers the user with light my PvP opponent can easily notice it and all he/she has to do is to wait until it wears off
These are the reasons why I decided to replace Force Mastery with Electric. However, this is my solution according my game style, which is solo PvP atm
With single Tactics application you can definitively see Stalkers without Stealth. Plus, it also adds bonus accuracy so its definitively something
Finally mate, I am trying to make the best of what I have. Check my signature and youll only see one blaster there. Plus, please see the emote at the end of my previous message, I think it means something

That's right, I want to try and make a PvP build, despite this monstrosity of a secondary power. Unfortunately I don't really follow PvP, or pay attention to the importance of various powers in various situations. However I did make a build in the hope that someone could help me look at it, and make some suggestions

Now some explanations:
Burn: I took this so I could put it down with Hot feet when fighting stalkers.
Blazing Aura: 3 slotted for acc as a stalker protection
Grant Invis: I was under the impression regular stealth and invis can't be stacked, so I couldn't see the sense in taking stealth when I planned to take invis.
Nova: It has its uses in PvP in my opinion. Coupled with a CAB and Consume it shouldn't work much different to PvE, in theory.
Flame Mastery: Although this won't come into play until Recluse's Victory (or in the arena) - I took this because I wanted the hold and the self rez with the invincibility. I also thought of taking Force Mastery....
Power Push: I didn't really have anything left to take here, so I went with something that I thought could get me out of a sticky situation
Any help would be much appreciated, and also please no flaming any dumb mistakes I made
PS: I don't know why it says there's a Rechg on Hurdle, it was 1x Jump Increase. I guess its a bug :P
