1. My laptop's resolution is 1280x800, and the software works fine in window or maximised mode, however, it doesn't totally cover the desktop when maximised.
2. PvP Numbers:

I think it was already mentioned here and in the US forum. I noticed it after downloading Mid's latest update yesterday. Here's an example of my widow:

Fortunata Ranged Defence in PvE:
5.69% (Maneuvres)
8.13% (TT: Maneuvres)
12.20% (Mask Presence)
11.89& (Foresight)
5.00% (Ultimate Ranged Def. Bonus)
2.50% (Moderate Ranged Def. Bonus)
3.00% (Steadfast Protection)
48.40 Total

Fortunata Ranged Defence in PvP:
5.74 (Maneuvres)
7.81% (TT: Maneuvres)
11.71% (Mask Presence)
11.46& (Foresight)
5.00% (Ultimate Ranged Def. Bonus)
2.50% (Moderate Ranged Def. Bonus)
3.00% (Steadfast Protection)
29.93% Total

All PvE defence values and their total match Mid's Planner, and according to the planner PvE & PvP values are the same. However, PvP defence values are different in the game, and their sum is incorrect, it should have been 47.22% instead of 29.93% according to the numbers listed above.

It was a pleasure teaming with you KS. Hopefully, we'll meet again here or in other games in the future.

Take care...

NB: Same goes to you as well Roastie, m'kay?

Ok, that's it for The Outsiders team.

On behalf of my teammates, I wanna thank KS and Cherry for organising this wonderful event, and wish good luck for qualified teams.

Good Bye Nimmer!

It was a pleasure knowing you Seri. I wish you best of luck in the RL mate...

NB: And I have to say I'm really touched by this thread, welldone KS, you're a good man...
6. Sorry KS, didn't see this thread til you told me about it last night...

I started developing my spines/regen scrapper with IOs after finishing Blastor and I went with perma Dull Pain option like Tainted Greek & Psydock suggested. I managed to receive 50% recharge set bonus (on the planner) on top of Hasten and once the build is completed Dull Pain will be recharged 8 seconds faster than its actual duration...

Btw, recharge bonus option isn't only to have a perma DP but to be able to have more chance against -recharge attacks...

You'll see it on the list below that I have no regen at all (only from Unique IOs like Numina and Regen. Tissue) but I hope fast recharge on click heal powers will compensate it.

Investing on slow is an interesting idea and I'd really like know if it brings any significance on top of a spine's inherent slow in PvP.

One thing I don't understand about your aim though. I appreciate the skill factor in not having a perma DP but according to what you say: "Can stand toe to toe with Monster in PI and withstand the damage indefinitely" it looks to me that you have something better than Perma Dull Pain

Anyway, here's my build (I completed around 60% of it so far):

7. Hey Seri,

I understand the reason to keep the level cap at 44 but some ATs get important powers at lvl49, TK for defenders for instance.

Not that I would PvP with my defender but it's my third lvl50 hero .

Thinking that not everyone can have 3 toons suitable for PvP (like myself), I can only think of 2 options atm:

1) Keeping the level cap at 44, but reducing the number of toons from each player to 2. Then each fight between 2 players can be organised as 4-match mini tournament without rolling a dice.

2) Bringing 3 toons but no level cap, so we use them with their max. capacity. Oh and with dice rolling frenzy .

I don't agree with Syn on Hold powers for Blasters, they're definitively useful, especially when fighting against another blaster.

[/ QUOTE ]
With the abundance of anti-mez powers from teammates and the availability of BFs, Holds are nothing more than a momentary distraction - so that's why I believe holddur is a waste, especially when you don't get a great modifier bonus in the first place. YMMV.

[ QUOTE ]
In terms of Epic Pool I used to have Force Mastery. In my opinion it's the best PvE pool. However in PvP it's not useful for our builds. As you know energy/fire blasters have no hold powers and Force Mastery doesn't offer one.

[/ QUOTE ]
Force Mastery has many applications in PvP, but it does require a change in playstyle.

[ QUOTE ]
Also, consider getting the Leadership pool. Assault increases your damage output and provides resistance to Taunt & Placate, while Tactics gives bonus accuracy & perception, so you can see Stalkers without Stealth...

[/ QUOTE ]
A single application of Tactics won't do much, and I'd really only advise people to think about going that route if they have TD from Devices to stack with it. Assault is okay if you can fit it in, but Taunt changes for PvP make it less attractive.

[ QUOTE ]
And finally, create another blaster if you're thinking seriously about PvP. Fire Manipulation is too weak compared with Energy & Electric secondaries

[/ QUOTE ]
You can still make the best of what you have - you don't have to have the most uber build to enjoy PvP either, and I wish more people would figure that out.

[/ QUOTE ]

As I mentioned in my previous post, a hold power becomes useful when I'm fighting another blaster. It doesn’t have to be a solo PvP, in my very limited PvP experience so far I witnessed a blaster choosing another blaster as his/her main target in team PvPs many times…

You may describe mez attacks as a momentary distraction however it’s long enough to get you killed…

Unfortunately, Fire Manipulation only has DoT as the secondary effect while rest of the blaster secondary pools have effects like stun, disorient, -fly, slow etc. That’s why I think a hold power can turn the tide of the battle to my side…

Regarding epic pools, I still have Force Mastery in my actual build and I have Electric in the test server build. Force Mastery is very good epic pool, but I still think it’s mostly PvE oriented.

My Personal Force Field, for instance, can easily be penetrated by a controller or Build Up & Aim combo from another blaster in a PvP.

I never got any chance to use Repulsion Field in a PvP as I never get close to the enemy, I only do it when I wanna use fire sword attacks to drop toggles, in which case I have to turn it off.

Temp Invulnerability provides 20% resist to smash & lethal while Charged Armour provides 19% resist to smash & lethal, plus 14% resist to Energy. In this case I think Charged armour is better than Temp Invulnerability…

With Force of Nature and Hot Feet on, I can fight AVs in melee distance in a team. However, because of its obvious animation which covers the user with light my PvP opponent can easily notice it and all he/she has to do is to wait until it wears off…

These are the reasons why I decided to replace Force Mastery with Electric. However, this is my solution according my game style, which is solo PvP atm…

With single Tactics application you can definitively see Stalkers without Stealth. Plus, it also adds bonus accuracy so it’s definitively something…

Finally mate, I am trying to make the best of what I have. Check my signature and you’ll only see one blaster there. Plus, please see the emote at the end of my previous message, I think it means something…
10. I just tested it with a stalker in the training room yesterday, Blazing Aura doesn't work against Stalkers even with 3 Acc SOs. However, Hot Feet works wonders even without any Acc SO.

But the problem here is that Hot Feet doesn't work as a Stalker spotter but it definitively interrupts AS.

I don't agree with Syn on Hold powers for Blasters, they're definitively useful, especially when fighting against another blaster.

In terms of Epic Pool I used to have Force Mastery. In my opinion it's the best PvE pool. However in PvP it's not useful for our builds. As you know energy/fire blasters have no hold powers and Force Mastery doesn't offer one.

I chose Electric Mastery. Basically, Elecric & Flame mastery offer same type of powers. However, I think Electric is better with its shield power, Charged Armour also gives defence to energy attack, which is widely used in PvP...

Also, consider getting the Leadership pool. Assault increases your damage output and provides resistance to Taunt & Placate, while Tactics gives bonus accuracy & perception, so you can see Stalkers without Stealth...

And finally, create another blaster if you're thinking seriously about PvP. Fire Manipulation is too weak compared with Energy & Electric secondaries
11. Robotics/FF

Never needed stamina throughout 40 level PvE experience. I have Dispersion Bubble, Assault & Tactics toggles on all the time, however, I intend to add Combat Jumping & Acrobatics toggles in order to survive Knock Backs in PvP. I have Flight pool atm...

I don't know whether I'll need stamina to be able to keep 5 toggles on at all times, or adding End Reduc SOs will simply be enough...

I'll test it in the training room once I7 is available because new epics pools will also be influencing my build after lvl40...
