To be honest being a brute I cant see why you haven't had much teaming action. If you have already flagged up that you are looking for a team then eventually you should get one. However of late it has been fairly quiet. My poor dominator has found it abit hard to get into teams. I think everyone is waiting for I7. However, having a good sg helps loads. A quick shout out on coaltion chat normally sorts the non teaming problem out.
My advice would be (if you haven't done so already) make sure you have clicked on looking for team and also join one of the more established sgs out there. There are plenty of them out there. You only have to scan through this forum to see many of supergroups trying to snap up more recruits. Cough E.V.I.L. Cough.
If you have a sg you are happy with or still deciding, you can always give one of my toons a shout. Look out for daddys little defect (currently lv 31).

for some reason its been realy dificult acroos the board on union villains to find teams looks like most peple are working withing there Sg's lately most of our members have had problems finding teams outside the group for a couple of weeks lets hope i7 sparks some new interest in the game

Hmm interesting...with Kosmos I haven't soloed since lvl 4 or so, and I lvled him up in the past month. Although it is true that a lot of the time I was in an SG team (or at least part of it from my SG), so I suppose that does help a great deal.
On the whole, I've found that you simply do not seem to get PuG's on CoV Union.
It's very rare I'm not able to find a team but that's mainly because i'm in one of the better VG's out there and have some very good coalitions.
Not sure why that is though. On CoH, I'm in one of the biggest coalitions out there with LLOD and all the 1 AT SG's but I regularly team in PuG's despite this.
The overall quality of PuG's on CoV does seem to be quite poor though which is what stops many players teaming outside their VG coalitions.
As Max has said, a good VG is the way to go. If you fancy giving the Bloodline a try, give me a shout on @Kinslayer.
We're a PvE group, very active (we have only 3 spots left in the VG and everyone of those in it has been on in the last 20 days) and are pretty relaxed.
SG chat is normally very busy but some of the jokes on there are pretty poor. If you are interested in PvP, we have a seperate PvP VG that is just getting off the ground and we have a seperate VG for any alts. Due to the fact we're always full, we do only allow one alt in the main VG.
We're actually running an SF in your lvl range on Thursday night so if you wanna join us for tha, feel free.
I never really have a problem finding a team in CoV (which is lucky as soloing is not my bag), and if I don't get any joy from shouting out on coalition chat (my VG as coalitions with some of the larger ones) then building a team is not usually too hard...
ive never had a prob teaming on the contary i have a prob trying to solo 
, but like the wise max and others have said most of the regualers stick in their VGs or coalitions.

I was playing on Vigilance the french server prior to Union and it was easy to find group. I'm playing on Union since a week or two got my brute up to 29 tonight but 3/4 of that play time was soloing
No idea if soloin' is faster but its boring as heck!
