My Grav/Kin build (comments please)
I am by no means an expert on these 2 power sets, but a number of comments and questions spring to mind.
1) Why didn't you take Siphon Speed? very useful giving you a sort of travel power nice and early and boosting recharge times.
2) Taking crushing field that early is, in my opinion, asking for trouble. It's an agro magnet. Take later, when you have or are close to getting wormhole.
3) Speed Boost is a defining power for the kinetics set and as such I would recommend taking it as soon as possible rather than delaying it 4 levels.
4) Why have you taken Assault, Acrobatics and Tactics? I really can't see a good reason for these in this build. If you intend it as a PvP build then the tactics will come in handy against stalkers, but to be honest, I would swap these out for other things.

Skimpy
The power selection looks fine, except you won't need Conserve Power as you have got Transferance to sort all of your end problems. There are a few slotting issues (no damage in your sing?), instead of listing them here it's shameless plug time...take a look at my grav/kin guide.

I didnt take siphon speed as I dont want to rely on hitting someone to get my travel power. Can see this giving me trouble at higher levels as I attempt to siphon speed from a purple and get one shotted for my trouble . Also would be difficult to get around in pvp with just the siphon speed as a travel power.
I wanted acrobatics for the status protect, but does it provide enough to warrent putting it in for a controller? I could swap it out for repel or another power (crush, dimension shift, or inertial reduction) or another power pool but in my opinion I though it was a toss up between repel or acrobatics.

Already checked out your guide (looking good and very useful).
Has anyone tried Repel and how useful have they found it? At the moment I seem to be staying back quite a bit and when there are no healers around I end up spamming holds, heals, and siphon power a lot. If I still keep the same tactics will repel be of any use to me or would a power pool be more use to the team?
Get hasten in there... trust me With Siphon Speed and Hasten running you'll be able to have it available most of the time. Personally I took Stamina at 20 and Speed Boost at 22... but then again I see myself as more of an offensive part of the team than a buff bot.
Build looks pretty good...though you may want to reconsider your slotting.
1: be sure to have 2 acc in every power if you want it to hit on a regular basis.
2: See if you can six slot transfusion? it is the (nonbuffed!) best aoe heal in the game. I usually slot it 2 acc, 1 rech, 3 heals.
3: Siphon power just needs the 2 acc since it has a quick base recharge. Put in a rech if you can spare it.
4: Propel..may want to add that 3rd dmg SO?
5: CJ, the defense is neglible at best...1 slot it with jump
6: Siphon speed...try and get as many slots as u can in this one. 2 acc, 3 rech and maybe 1 end red?
7: ID...doesnt need a recharge.
8: SB...doesnt need a recharge.
9: Health...regen is pretty poor on a troller...just 1 slot it.
10: Wormhole...nice power and one of the few hard controls in the grav set. Try to put some recharges in this one...and maybe a range if you can find room?
11: Chrushing field...2 acc is all it needs, maybe throw in a end red and immob dur if you have the slots
12: Repel..meh..what can I say? it isn't very good and costs a lot of endurance...if you want it for protection just go stand in the sing (it can be a highly entertaining power though )
13: Sing...very high accuracy so basically just need 1 acc, consider slotting for dmg and maybe just the 1 hold dur?
14: Transferance...i tend to slot this with 3 acc since it want this one to hit EVERY time and 2 recharge and 1 or 2 end mods
15: Fulcrum...just needs the 2 acc's
16n Primal Epic: Temp invul...I'm guessing the recharges you've put in that one was supposed to be end reds? just needs 2
You won't need conserve power because of transferance. Try and slot Power Blast more? maybe even consider sets as fire or psi for that uber dmg with fulcrum?

Is it worth picking a different power than repel? Im considering this as a spare power to choose.
