Fighting pool, useful or worthless
The short answer is no. If you want a power to allow you to stay alive longer, take Medicine Pool/Aid Self.
i have been considering that as well, but i have been told that every power in that pool is interuptable so i have never tried it..

I have Swift - Health - Stamina and Stealth respecced into my blaster about a month or so ago, reasonably pleased with it, but I don't want to see the Fitness pool overused on all my alts. He's a little bit harder to take down, he lasts a little bit longer in a fight. Works for me.
that is the same powers that my last blaster had an s even though he had health and stamina he still wouldnt last very long, even controllers stood longer than me...

This is the correct answer.
Yes, the powers are interruptible, technically - but they're not easily interruptible. If you run behind a corner to use them, you'll be fine; if you're not in the line of fire, you'll be fine; if you slot two Interrupt Reductions, you'll be fine. Tough is next-to-useless on a Blaster.

On the money. Tactical withdrawal (aka running away when in trouble) is the Blaster's best defence; Aid Self minimises recovery times. Either that or take part in an Adopt-A-Empath scheme.

I was considering tough & weave myself for my blaster. The views here have me convinced to pass it by for now (Munitions, the anciliary set has a bigger, better version anyway but is over lvl 40!).
My advice for now, Aid Self triple slotted with Heals, the timing essential in a fight though (hammer it til it works), tactical withdrawal also good advice.
The Health & Stamina powers are musts, I noticed a complete change on my blaster once these were in.
To stay alive longer, keep greens, blues & a break free stocked up in your insps.
Tactical withdrawal is no bad thing vs DEBT....

Making friends with a good defender will help you alot more than any of the pool powers ^_~
I should imagine the fighting pool being some help with certain blapper builds, but at the end of the day, why waste the slots? You get an epic armour anyhoo, later in the game.
i have been playing blasters on and off since i got the game and i just came to think about the fighting pool, the fact that there is at least one or two defenses out there made me think.
First of all, is Tough worth to even consider?
and second of all:
Combat Jump, Tough, Weave, acrobatics. would it make a decent defense for a blaster?
