Actually its generally quite safe to rez in the middle of a melee. When you plany you lose all agro and although there's some dispute you do come back ready to start fighting immediately.

I took it because I hate downtime and it has come in useful more than once.

Take the slots out of Resilience, the bonus isn't worth it. Put them in MoG instead and slot for Defence buff.

Due to the long recharge time of Broadsword, i'd suggest putting in hasten, its an extra 2 Recharge reduction SO's in every attack when its up, and only has a downtime of 65seconds, 3 slotted with recharge reduction.

Sorry to bring this back up but I was on with scrapper fighting some AVs today and he faceplanted NUMEROUS times and revive was called upon. I can confirm that I rezzed with 2/3rds my hps and 1/2 endurance and was unstunned (which may be due to resilience).
Waste of a power slot? Not today it wasn't.

Ok, revive seems to work better than described.

However i still have the opinion that any power which requires you to die before you can use it is a waste of a power slot (the exception might be rise of the phoenix for fire tanks, where you knockback and disorient foes when you rez)
But thats just my opinion.

That's a pretty stupid thing to say though as the whole point of the power is that it will revive you after you die. It doesn't make you have to die all the time, it's there when it's needed.

Thing is without slotting its once in a blue moon, you can carry 15 awakens by the time you can get revive, its not a pointless power just a power that you can normally find something else to take that has more use. Only time I've ever taken it was at 49 with just the default slot. I tend to carry 3/4 awakens wih me and I can honestly say I haven't missed it since I respeced it out.

I dont think its stupid at all.

It is my opinion, and i would rather pick a more useful offensive/defensive power, than one i would hardly ever use.

If i need revive regularly, IMHO i am playing the game wrong !!

But that is just my opinion after 50 lvls of being a regen scrapper.

Yes, it's not a good power to take when it's available at 35 but I think it is useful to get it during the late 40s. I think I got it at 47 at the end and it's definately useful at 50 as I don't really care what happens to me, I know that I can keep going from anything enemies can throw at me. Plus, it frees up inspiration slots for more Enrages

As a "i haven't got any idea what power to pick at level 49" power, I can see it being a bargain. Leastways, you can use those 50 slots somewhere more useful.

That depends. If you play with the same ppl regulary who all play well together then you maybe don't faceplant very often. I play on large pick up teams with the lvl of mobs at anywhere between +2 and +4 and in that situation faceplanting frequency goes through the roof.
And in that situation if your fighting an AV expect to be one-shotted if dull pain isn't running - its then that revive comes into its own.
Or you can lie face-down letting the rest of the team pull up the slack while you wait to be rezzed or until it's safe to pop an awaken.

And that's my opinion after forty-six levels of being a regen scrapper.

IH may be a clicky, but tbh i'm glad of this fact.

Everyone screamed NERF when IH was 'de-toggled', however it now won't drop when your out of end, and it can't be detoggled when held/stunned. Plus the fact it's still somewhere in the regeion of an 800% regen boost, methinks it may still be worth it..
