1. about the homepage... i would make it if no 1 wants to do it or can ... i already got a webserver where we can put it on and all stuff like videos etc...
2. What bout a SG Movie... made several ingame videos :P www.soehne-der-freiheit.de under download section the REVENGE... its the best 1 i've done..
3. nother idea is it would be cool if we could do a weekly meeting or something... to trade suggestions,ideas, help lowbies with infamy or lvln.. hints etc.. maybe make pictures of the SG...
4. What bout a Ventrillo server or Teamspeak2 server... i could offer u one for free...(Teamspeak or ventrillo = Voice chat programms)
5. we really need our own FOrums!

/edit: Lady doom try out a MM with ninja/traps :P they rock in PVP hehe (actually most MMs rock with traps doesnt matter really what pets u got) or for PVE i would prefer corr Fire/dark its a good combination

I would try a corrupter Lady. What type is up to you, personally i like matching sets (as you can tell) for concept reasons, and they tend to be designed to work well together. I suggest a something/kin...for purely selfish reasons

I'd go corrupter too Lady, not least because I don't recall you having been one before, but also, I have a lvl 10 nrg/rad who I'd like to level, and I won't play her while we're racing brutes!

i think it's great that you're taking such an active interest in the SG - it's nice to have you on board.
as for your points:
1. I must admit, this forum is getting a touch unweildy now that we're on page 34, although one thing it does have in it's favour is that it's accesible to everybody that plays the game. My only concern with a dedicated is how much traffic it would get, and how easily people could find it.
2. As for SG movie, I think Kitty's already made quite enough of those Seriously though, I have no idea of what would be involved or how it would look, so I'm very flexible on the matter (but not as flexible as Kitty was in "Paragon Vice IX")
3. I like the idea of us having some SG pics.
4. Voice? you need to pay premium rates for that!
5. What we really need is for everyone to be contributing to the forums. right now this whole thread is just one long conversation! If the forums were actively used then you're right, it would really need to be able to support multiple threads (eg: raids, build suggestions, kitty being wonderful etc)
So, I guess that means the first step will be to actually get everyone contributing to the forums, so see what you can do Zanji. Speak to the SGers and tell them about the things you'd like to do and get them to be a part of it.
Once the need to expand the forum grows we'll be in a much better position to see what we need.
Right, that's half an hour of work done.
Better go any do something they actually pay me for now!!

As for the forum, if you think 34 pages is a lot, take a look at the precision rangers thread, its at well over 1000 pages AND they have their own site. My worry would be that It would just be one long natter between myself, cold, lady and scar (and we talk in-game anyway!). The advantage of it being here is that anyone can see it, so we may get requests to join as we are always on the front page, and can arrange events with other SG leaders easily. Also it means we only have one place to look, at the moment the rangers are trying to keep up with their own site and the forum thread at the same time, and to be honest I dont think its working as well as one thread.
I think our objective should be to get more people in the SG contributing to the thread as it is, instead of the same 4-5 people all the time.
I think one major problem we may need to tackle is that most of the SG members are us! Just in various alts (hell I think Im half the SG on my own now). Perhaps a big recruitment drive is needed, after we slim down on the alts, and put the thread address in the MOTD.

actually, I never knew there was a VG recruitment thread. Why don't we combine 2 aims here? If we place a post in the VG recruitment thread, we could also place a link to a static webpage (without forums) that tells people about who were are and what we do.
I think Kitty's right - having forums in 2 places is a BAD idea. You've got no consistent way of communicating with your SG, and if people read one forum but not the other it's going to be more hassle than it's worth.
Seems that best solution is we can link to a webpage about us from the forums, and link back to the forums from our website.

Liking the sound of the recruitment drive - I'll certainly be on the prowl next week while I'm off to see if we can get some nice new blood in.
As for the website - I like the idea of having one - if we can get enough useful things on there - I think having some kind of interactive events calendar would be great.
ie I go on and put a date in to say I'm running Mistral TF at a certain day and time then people can come signup.
We need more bods I think as a priority though.... Lets all go adopt some new players...
The OTHER option would be a merger.... if we can find a group who would be up for it.... The ones I can think of that would be best would be someone like Bru's Dark Lords of the Underworld... I think (and I may be wrong), we're bigger prestige wise and probably base wise, but perhaps we could approach their management to see if they want to combine forces - thoughts?

A merger with a smaller group would be good i have no doubt, but any group you mention out loud is probably going to run a mile now thinking you want to eat their members!

I agree with all of the previous posts. I think.... well not very much really its been a very long day 
1. SG Recruitment - I think we do need fresh blood as has been said previously if we removed all out alts then we would be left with prob ten members. I7 should resolve some of that as we will have some old faces sneaking back on who are going to want a base and established team just to jump back into ( n.b kitty has had most players "jump" with her at some time! ) I think we all need to be more proactive when we team with others that we are acitvely recruiting and not just sitting in our comfort zone. I must admit I enjoy logging on and chatting/ teaming with the same old faces but thats not going to increase our numbers. So I shall also start actively recruiting.
2. Forums, I think we are well placed where we are as Kitty has said maybe a post advertising us is a good way forward but, we need to make our forum easily accesible and keep it in a central non player controlled environment.
3. SG movie, you want to do it Zanji then go for it, I'd be interested in having a good old look.
