Psi has a few "dodgy" powers. The first tier attack is lame, but it gets better towards the middle. Having taken it to 50, I'm not especially attatched to it. That said, it's perfectly useable, just a bit of a slow burner.
Yep, heard that Psi is a slow one with some dodgy early powers. But Dark has a lot of great early picks so the psi can wait till later and better powers.

Back on topic, Dark Miasma will work with more or less anything, as it is a set which is mostly about making you very safe indeed.
Every single power in Dark Miasma is very good aside from Black Hole which is rubbish. I'm sure Buff, Ravenmyst or one of the other Dark/Psi types will be able to post a bit more about set synergy when they come along.

My offender BrainZ is a Rad/Psi and i've gotta say despite what people say I rather like Psi attacks. Brilliant range, longer than blasters without boost range or range enhancements including furthest snipe, solo's nice and safely with hover (if a little slowly). Nice smattering of different secondary effects, Will Dom and TK blast totally rock, pre-ED I could nearly chain just those 2 really rapid firing attacks with perma AM and perma hasten.
Not a set to be over looked, and I think a Dark/psi would also be very good, and simliarly scarey in PvP if played/built right 
I must say, Psi is a very effective way of taking down an Invulnerability Tanker. As long as you have a self heal, they are doomed to faceplantness.
Oh, and you get a big pink, wavy disco explosion as your final "nuke" power. It's pink!

Don't see many of these about and I'm tempted to give one a whirl - any thoughts? Anyone had good/bad experiences?
