Energy/Energy. Tips?
I'm not expert on builds whatsoever, but I respected Power Shield out because it was just another end eater I didn't need. As a melee Kinetic Shield I keep, but other than that all I have is Entropy Shield, which of course is a must in my book. Power Shield of course you can toggle when you need it, but I figure if it's come to that point, I'm going to be running away anyhow.

I'd drop hasten and ss and put 2 acc/1 recharge/3 dam on AS and 1 recharge 1 acc on each attack power.
i wouldn't 3 slot hide unless you have nothing else to slot.
i wouldn't slot stealth as the gain from each slotted add is very small.

As an /energy stalker you really dont need stamina, you will get end drain, this with 2 endurance modifications on it, will quite happily replenish your end and leave all the mobs around you effectively slowed, unable to attack you as they have no end
Yes i have power shield, i didn't take thermal shield, all the defences are 3 slotted,2 defence buffs and an end reduction, with this setup I can run them continuously with no problems.
This has allowed me to take powers from the prescence set giving me an effective hold on single targets and groups. This works very effectively in PvE and in PvP giving me a very nicely balanced powerset.
Well, if it helps explain some of the power choices, I tend to find myself doing some "light" scrapping; especially in Kill All missions.
Stand behind the one I intend to use AS on, use inspirations - if needed - activate the right toggles, click hasten, power boost then AS the first guy, before laying waste to the others.
It's a tactic that's seen me right through my Stalker's career, with only one faceplant; and that came about because I didn't realise the Facemaker would chuck out a hold as soon as I aggroed her.
I've managed to solo everything so far as well; about five Elite Bosses in total, and plenty of Kill All missions.
I've heard this approach becomes nigh-on impossible later, however.
The defence from combat jumping is pratically nothing. Its 2,5% base value and with 3 slots its only about 4%. IMO a waste of slots.
I would never take health on a toon with as few HP as a stalker, and if I did I certainly wouldnt slot it. You will only regenerate hp 80% faster. Regeneration aura from an empath adds 500%(base, not slotted). 80% is IMO not enough to justice the power. Both swift and hurdle will make you faster which I think will add more protection.
A Paragon Defender
While I agree that the regen bonus from Health is small (even when 3 slotted), I found it useful to reduce downtime. It's not really "for the fight", it's more for "in between fights".
And Combat Jumping should NOT be 3 slotted. There's no question there.
Slotting stealth is also not recommended. A single def or end reduction enhancement should be enough.
Oh, and I recently had a fight with some CoT with my lvl 15 */EA stalker... and I didn't had Power Shield. Very quickly it turned out that it was a big mistake. That shield is needed for such enemies.

Choose Energy Drain as my last power...and wow, very nice, esspecially with Hasten slotted too for recharge.

im an Ninja / Energy stalker and I didn't take fitness and found it hard until I got Energy Drain then I got Conserve Power then I loved him again
You build seems to be OK, it all depends on what you want your stalker for / PVE or PVP or a bit of both, I leveled mine for PVP and really love it
What build do you have for your stalker Sekmet? Everything I see is either for PVP or PVP - I've been looking for a balanced build for a while...

sorry theres no slots shown but this was my basic guide..u can take it that attacks are usually 3acc/3 dam..defenses are 2def/1 end rec...the fear attacks are slotted for accuracy and are what can give u a real edge in PvP and an effective hold in PvE.The End Drain has effectively killed in PvP as it has detoggled players allowing stun to hold or intimidate..followed by nrg transfer or AS
I would advise taking entropy at 10 and putting 2 end reds in it

My two concerns are:
1 - Is Stun better than Stealth?
2 - Should I replace Hover with Air Superiority?
I want to be good in PvP mostly, but need to PVE in order to level Mind you, Im mostly running "Defeat ? and guards" on max difficulty for the bonus xp, so except for SF's all I need to be effective in PVE is Hide, Build Up, AS and Placate...

1 - ehm, two way different moves, stealth is to make sure you're hidden - must have in pvp, while stun just.. stuns nothing like a perfectly timed detoggle, on for example a controller with some AOE shield on.. stun, placate, buildup, AS
2 - yeah - hover is slow and useless to a stalker

lol - I meant is Stun more useful to me as a Stalker than Stealth. I have both on my current build, but Stun rarely hits, and when it does, rarely does anything. But lots of Stalkers still put it into their builds - is there something im missing that makes it more useful?
Also, do I need stun, when I have Intimidate?... and does Intimidate immobolise PVP players, or force them to run?
Sorry to butt in on your post nug m8y but.. opinions on my respec build please.

This is gonna be mainly for pvp, but with the ability of being able to level ok on relentless solo mish's
Not sure on wether to take barrage over kinetic shield, they're both pretty weak, but my objective will be to get in and out as quick as possible, and this combination gives me a mini super jump (am only lvl 29 atm)and a nice range on tp, with neither of them being supressed..
not sure about SJ in there either, am also considering invisibilty.

I wouldn't drop Hasten or SS cause SS is quite good with Super Jump at the same time and Flurry is not better then Hasten
SS only decreases SJ, sorry.
I recently respected out Stamina for slotted Energy Drain and Conserve Power. I found it a royal pain though because Conserve Power's recharge even fully slotted is so slow you can't put it into the not having Stamina argument. Fully slotted Energy Drain can replace Stamina but I found it a royal pain having to spend so much time managing my endurance with it. I will definately take Stamina again and add Energy Drain in later, as it is a very useful power not just for your own end but taking away from your enemies, but just not one that personally I consider a replacement for slotted Stamina.

Well having got to that high level of level 9, I am loving my EM/NJ. Its great, it really is great.
I am glad I choose Energy Punch over Barrage though, it is great for when a mob has just that little slither of Hp left.
AS, it rocks. I dont really do much one shotting but then again I am taking BU at level 10 and have yet to slot my AS with anything other than an +ACC I got as a mob drop.
Its great, I find it quicker to level through street sweeping at the moment. But I am sure this will change as I level up and recieve more powers.
I am very excited about trying my toon out in a PvP zone, just have to level up a bit more.
Endurance is a bit of a pain, I seem to run out quickly. But thats what stamina was invented for, as were -End Cost enhances.
I am sure you will love your stalker, I wish you all teh best luck!

In my own opinion I like to go for a weak attack and a strong attack, so I get barrage and bone smasher, it works out for me.
I've gone through somewhat of an AT testing frenzy lately, and now my sights have rested upon the glorious Stalker. I've gone Energy/Energy, both for theme and after hearing how effective it is in PvE. I'm currently level 9, and I've put together a little build:

I don't intend to PvP all that much - although I'll end up dipping into it every so often - and so I'm mainly focused on PvE. The build's doing great so far; today alone I've soloed about four Elite Bosses and their guards (Obviously the EBs weren't all in the same place), and I'm genuinely enjoying the Stalker.
Just wondering if this build will allow me to continue enjoying her.
