Defiant - Villains PVP team
Corrupters are very good with an 8 member team. The PD's have some corrupters left over from when we first ventured into Bloody Bay and killed a lot of heroes on their own base beach the night before CoV went live
Have a word with Mesmer, Nightbringer or Imaginary, they were the brains behind the 'impossible to beat' villian team. Killing lvl 50 heroes full slotted with SOs when you were only fitted with TOs was some of the best fun I've had.
Well I can always bring flick If you want /kin secondary.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again - any single-secondary-AT group is always going to suffer from a lack of balance, will have holes in their defence, and will always be exploitable in PvP to a greater or lesser degree based on that.
Personally, I think a team comprised of 2 /Son, 2 /Cold, and 4/Kin would be fairly rounded and pretty damn scary to face.

I agree but human nature being what it is and people Having different schedules and the like what starts out as 8 will quickly dwindle to 4 at any one time online and gaps can be plugged as and when. From personal experience single secondary teams lvl much faster and gets to a position to be able to start pvping properly quicker

Corrupters lack defense, and mez protection inherently so that needs to be addressed. Personally I think */Thermal Rad would fit the bill as a secondary as it can do a bit of everything - heal, shield and mez defense. Plus a few debuffs at the high end.
Primary-wise I reckon a mix of Sonic and Radiation for the minor debuffs would be a good showing.
I'd say rad/kin or sonic/rad would be killers as well.. especially vs those nasty defense-heavy sets that can suck in PvE but rule in PvP

Man that was fun. We were the first villain team ever in the zone and we kicked so much [censored]. An 8 man team with almost all rad secondary's. A mix of Fire and Ice primary and one Sonic. We spammed so much debuffs we couldn't be hit and when we were hit, we quickly healed it with our healing blanket. All this on red training enhancement.
To be honest I am surprised nobody has done it since. All I've seen are hordes and hordes of stalkers in the PVP zones, but never an all curruptor team.
ps. my corruptor should be around lv 26 now, I haven't played him in a long time. It's difficult to play when you're not teaming with the regular team, seeing that he has no stamina and no travel power. It was a full team build. It was good while it lasted though, would be nice to repeat that in Siren's Call some time.
got a lvl 21 ice/cold corruptor if it helps tho i'm putting off playing cov until i get a new video card >.<
Paradoxia is a Lvl 34 Ice/Thermal corruptor and if need be I could make her available when I'm not playing Honey. Need to respec her first though as the few occassions Ive used her in PvP I've spent most of my time flat on my face.
OK the plan I have is this, to form a 8 man team of the same AT, I am thinking corrupters at the moment due to the buffs/debuffs and healing capabilities and would like to get regular players to suggest what powersets to follow (I want us to have all the same secondary ideally and the leadership pool
) and indeed who would be interested in joining such a team.
It should be a nice fun team with no greifing or trash talking on broadcast, build up together and be able to take on the decent PVP teams that are out there.
So let me know what you think of the idea, what basic builds we should go for and see what we can organise.
