SR - Best dodge possible?

Ahoy baddies! After long time of playing with some other chars I decided to create a pvp-only char. I have a lvl40 Claws/Regen but I don't think I can be almighty with it, since I can't dodge much. So I've been thinking of a Ninja/SR or EM/SR.

Any opinion is welcomed. And if u could tell me wich powers of SR I should pick and how to slot it, it would be great. Thanks in advance

SR is pretty easy. Toggles are better than passives, so if you want to skip any powers, loose the passives (dodge and agile). Slot toggles 1 end reduction, 3 defence.

Get some way of boosting your stealth (stealth is great, grant invis is better but it requires a duoing buddy. Some use invis while finding targets and then change to stealth for the attack).

Quickness is a pretty good way to boost recharge and running speed.

Practiced Brawler requires 2 recharges (with quickness) to be permanent, so 2 recharges in it. 3 without.

Teleport and super jump are the best fleeing powers, so you might want to get one of those.

Hide==> DefBuf(1) DefBuf(9) DefBuf(11) EndRdx(11)
Focused Fighting==> DefBuf(2) DefBuf(3) DefBuf(3) EndRdx(5)
Focused Senses==> DefBuf(4) DefBuf(5) DefBuf(7) EndRdx(7)
Recall Friend==> Rechg(6)
Stealth==> EndRdx(8) EndRdx(9)
Teleport==> EndRdx(14) Range(15) Range(15) Range(17)
Practiced Brawler==> Rechg(16) Rechg(17)
Quickness==> Run(28)
Evasion==> DefBuf(35) DefBuf(36) DefBuf(36) EndRdx(36)
Elude==> DefBuf(38) DefBuf(39) DefBuf(39) Rechg(39) Rechg(40) Rechg(40)

Something like this is nice. Add the passives, if you dont want anything else. Otherwise the rest can be used on attacks or additional movement.

How bout the primary? I got a Ninja/SR lvl8. I picked ninja blade because of my toon's name: Miyamoto Musashi (best samurai ever). But then I look at EM dmg and I get jealous.

And.. SR is better than Ninjitsu for pvp? As far as I know the dodge is better

SR is better than Ninjitsu because it has an insanely high AoE defence (which'll let you AS through mudpots and such).

But Energy Melee is better than Ninja Blade.

Is Elude worth it for PvP? Well, it's only an escape move... but it seems overkill (in defense sense of the word).

I'm taking Elude on my /SR stalker so that I can max out my AoE defence in places like Warburg and (eventually) Recluses Victory.

Hmm... I think I'll wait and see whan the extra powers are for stalkers once lvls 40+ show up. Then it should be easy to make up one's mind about Elude.

Likely to be epic powers much like those on CoH.

Hmm... I've just noticed something worrying.

So far, quite a lot of best PvP happens in Sirenes Call, which is a lvl 30 zone. Evasion is available at 35. While a SR stalker will have more AoE defense than any other stalker out there, he'll have that advantage in Warburg and beyond. This isn't BAD... although people who want to do some PvPing NOW, may wish to use a different build. Especially, that AoE defense without Evasion is the same as a Regen stalker, and worse than a Ninjitsu stalker (Danger Sense).

Again, this isn't bad in the long run. But if you like Sirenes, and want to have a PvP build for that zone, then a SR won't be that much help... although I must say I'd like to have Quickness on my stalker.

PS. That's assuming SherkSilver builder has correct values on this... The defense for AoE from Hide seems to be off in this builder (according to Zaprobo).

Ninja Blade/SR is good for a PvE stalker since the parry ability alows you to scrap a little against certain foes.

For PvP yo really need EM to disorent your foes or Spines to Impale them, otherwise they will just run away.

I really should do something about this signature.

I'd recommend teleport as fleeing power. The other fleeing powers never survived long on my ice patch

The pasive sr powers gives you some resistance which is very nice. At 1 hp its 20% res pr toogle I think it is very useful.
