Darkest night in PvP
Not sure about that power itself...but the debuffs from Dark are very noticable. The German S4 Bantamweight team were destroying our accuracy in the final.
The accuracy debuffs from Darkest Night are lethal. They're without a doubt the best in the game, better than radiation emissions RI.
I used Darkest Night frequently in the Union S4 Bantamweight competition. I think it severely annoyed the scrappers that I chose to use the debuff on. However, the to hit chance is phenomenally high in pvp (75% I think) and therefore Darkest Night on it's own doesn't floor their accuracy. Doing a dance in front of your opposition might not get the results you hope for!
yeah, it was more a combination of DN and the other powers I think...not sure how the German's had slotted their powers...and there's no way to ask them now, as they've cancelled their accounts.
Thank you for the information! Will soon go test it out on some villains

50% now to hit in pvp, so it should work better now than in S4
I'm flooring almost everyone in Siren's Call and Bloody Bay with RI, and Darkest night is better than RI. The new 50% base to-hit really helps debuffing sets... that's it, until pvp'ers go for 3acc/3dam instead of the 1acc/3dam/2rech
When you have darkest night on you, you might as well run away if its slotted with 3 tohit debuff SO's. I think the base value is somewhere near 37,5%. With 3 even slots that -68,23% tohit debuff.
The formula for hitting is
net tohit = (1+acc enh)*[base tohit * (1 + tohit buffs - tohit debuffs) - (defense- defense debuffs)
(1+ 0,66 2 even lvl acc SO's *(0,5 * (1 -0,6823))= 0,263691
So with 2 accurary enhancements slotted you will miss about 3/4 of all your attacks.
Darkest Night will also debuff your damage output.

If I remember correctly, there's a bug on damage debuffs - in PvP they only debuff the base, unenhanced damage. Might be fixed now, might not.

They all had to study for further education, I think. I have one of them on MSN messenger.

When exactly was this implemented as I've never seen it in any of the patch notes. I was just wondering if it was implemented before or after the actual S4 final.
Also, this "fix" to accuracy is about the worst idea implemented into PVP so far. This makes acc debuffs like the ones from the Dark Miasma set ridiculously overpowered and basically cripples everyones build once again. Now we'll have to slot 2 accuracy enhancments to make up for the loss, which actually limits us the number of choices for slotting. Right now 2 acc and 3 damage enhancements seem like the standard PVP slotting. Not very "diverse" now is it?
Also, the lower level villains, who are still slotted with DO's are getting absolutly destroyed by something like this. How does this help new players just starting to play the game? The have no trouble hitting stuff in PVE, but can't hit [censored] in PVP, how is that logical?
I feel like this is some weird way to fix some of the defense based powersets, without actually giving them a boost in base values, like they should have. A PVP fight with everyone missing all the time is really not much fun. Just imagine all the fun, after I pop 2 lucks on my blaster , hit aim and build up and solo an entire 8 man team of DO slotted villains in Bloody Bay. I'm sure many petitions will be sent out after something like that.
Is Darkest Night (power from Dark Miasma, defender primary) accuracy debuff very noticable in PvP? Just wondering as it can keep my new dark/dark defender very safe and he's only level 8 at the moment.
So basicly the question is if I can put on a villain and live to do a little dance in front of him just to get on his nerves?
