Wouldnt it be better if the hami-tanker was actually a tanker then? 
Just extra empath and maybe a backup in case of dying..

I was ready to argument my proposition solely because it is much more difficult to pull hami aggro off a real tanker, so we'd have percentually less griefing cases.. And since we'd need healers in any case, I think this idea is sound. A tanker say, myself 
. I have 2 taunts, dull pain and even health.. heh. Ready any time! Too bad DP cant be made perma, but I dont think it matters that much.

I am totaly in agreement with TG on this. Laying into someone only seperates them from the community which is good for no one. Give the guy a chance. If someone sent him a tell as to why a cape is a bad idea rather than all ganging up on him, I'm guessing he'd be a hell of a lot more likely to listen.
It does seem there is a problem with Hami raids and new people not knowing what to do, and equaly importantly, why they should do it. I'd suggest for the next one that a few of us who've been to a few form duos and then make the rest of the team new guys so we can explain what is happening as we go along.
From what everyone has said, it seems that no one was intentionally griefing at any point last night (hell, we've all hit a bind at the wrong time), so my "tankers taunting in the hold group" comment from earlier is withdrawn and I apologise to those concerned.

regarding the whole Hamidon issue i was thinking that we could maybe try and take some action towards educating people that not actively participate in forums...lets say the week b4 the raid take turns each day and maybe spam a but arena chat and broadcast in hich level zones asking people who are going to participate to gather to get info on what they need to do and some requirements...would make life easier and eventually would guide more people on the boards as well...hmmm i ll give it a go the week b4 next raid and try see how it goes
Havent been able to get on the boards until now. Most of those involved in the last raid did great. You should be proud. ED was quite a blow to our capabilites.
Still for the most part it was fun and its great to see so many ppl I have seen throught my playing all in one place at 45+. Always get a kick out of that. I just wish we could all go out for the night after. Would be great with all the crews.
But yes some things do seem to hangg over such as certain ppls attiudes. Its not so bad that people dont read the forums really as that some dont want to listen or go out of there way to spoil it. Worse is the witch hunts for some individuals to blame.
But the final comentary is thanks to all of you. I got pretty hot headed at times myself but it wont out me off another raid. Pyra I know we dont even know each other but I would hate for anyone to feel beaten by this so dont give up. And anyone else who feels that way now keep at it.
I should also like to see 53 HOs for all our work too. Perhaps a campaigne in the suggestions?

I made a mistake too, but Ramite (I believe) sent me a tell, asking me to stop - I did so straight away, and apologised to him. It was my first Hami raid, and knew I was going to make mistakes and unfortunatley had a power on repeat. I appreciate Ramite letting me know I was wrong - thank you.
Also a Thank you to the organisers of the Raid - hope to be there next time, as I had a good time, with other members of the Liberty Legion.

I'd be more than happy to do the taunting, if you fancy a change. I got DP on 3 recharge and 3 Heal, so it's pretty much perma with hasten (even in it's busted form). Anyway, it'll give me a reason to go on the "Xmas Raid" as well!

Everything i've seen sofar would suggest an invuln tank would be best for tanking Hami now. The number of empaths needed to keep a regen scrapper alive would have an easier job with a tank. DP giving self heal and higher HP should make the job easier.

DP isnt any closer to perma with scrappers anyway..but who cares Tankers still get more base HP.
3 heal, 3 recharge redux is the new cookie cutter, been using that solidly after I5. I dont think the self-heal prospect gives much consolation when Hami is eyeing you down however..
