Last nights Evil Wednesday 1st Strike Force was a complete success. After a dodgy start we quickly got into the swing of things. The end boss was cool but shame we killed him so quick didnt get to appreciate him 
.
The biggest surprise for me though was not how quickly we took the end boss down but the fact that we actually have a functioning base! Abit baron but got all the basics so cant complain. It brought back a wry smile of how EVIL once was.
Had a slight tidy up of EVIL so once again have afew spaces for people to join but imagine they will fill up pretty quick.
Oh and LT have a great time.

Nope, and I'm slightly frustrated now that I've paid 1400$ for entirely new components (nothing from my old pc in there, save for the case), to find out that it still doesn't work.
I have a pc tech coming over this afternoon to have a look-see.

Well, a broken pc is just another excuse for me to consume extraordinary amounts of beer.
So, the pc tech tried to figure out why my monitor randomly turned on, and always froze in BIOS when the screen did turn on.
Replaced components with other components, switched sockets, jumpers etc, all until he gave up 2 hours later.
Then I sat down, took a good look at every damned component, tried to find out why it wouldn't run properly.
Then I notice the cooler for the CPU, and see the lever isn't turned all the way down to lock it in place.
As it turns out it wasn't connected entirely to the CPU, so I just took it out and put it in properly, and voilá. Game on.
So finally ended up like this, and I gotta say.. boy does it kick behind!

Glad its finally sorted. Ive still not bought the graphic card(s) I was gonna get. Im waiting for some sort of bargain to finally make me leap into action and commit to purchase. Also looking to get a new mouse, keyboard etc - ive been looking at the saitek eclipse keyboard.
Getting [censored] off at the mo as trying to sort a build for my dom. Its got to be a pvp one and theres just so many combinations. Dont even get me started on what patron to get. Ahhhhh doing my head in - Scirroco gives nice endurance move and good shield protection. Black scorpion gives a move that - acc and resistance to foe but weaker shields.

Well what would be more useful to you max, having better end *is it a drain or conserve?* and surviving better or making them easier to kill and making it harder for them to hit you, 1 is the sfaer option because the other has to hit, but could be better, the 1st is more defensive and better all round really as you dont have to rely on the other. The second is all about taking them down quicker so for duels only really, the 1st will handle yourself better in larger fights.
Couldnt make my mind up so decided not to decide .
I do afew test builds on the test server when got my dom a little bit higher so can make a proper decision.
Anyway thought I write one of them brief updates I do:
Base wise not changed to much of late - Ive been allowing (im sure i was hypnotised) the likes of Humanoid Doom and Lord Torment to have a play in our base so the lighting and decorative items may have changed abit. One of our members of the supergroup kindly sorted out the enhancement storage so each box houses the appropriate enhancement (so please dont mix them up).
Im happy to say Blackbone is back on villains again so you probably notice afew changes to our proper forums as he is our web guru. Ive got the tough job of thinking up ideas and then giving him the easy part of implementing them .
Those that read the boards may have read somewhere (cant think for the life of me where I would write such slander) that we dont have much talent in EVIL. Well we've got afew things going on (cant say to much at this stage as it is early doors) but one of the little projects in development is our very own EVIL soundtrack album .
We have also recently passed another mile stone in EVIL's development - we have now amassed over 20 million in prestige which has now bought us to the dizzy heights of 4th in the prestige charts and 1st in the unofficial whose best charts. Go EVIL! So just a quick grrrrr rats to everyones hard work (long may it continue).
EVIL Wednesdays are still going very strong and most of us are now around level 19 ish (give and take afew). I dont think I be on for too long this coming one as off snowboarding at Xscape. The following day is our planned base raid against the Horde so stock up on them inspirations and temp powers.
Its been quite a good week in all then. Had lots of pvp and quite afew little moments that brought a smile to my face. Late one night came across a proper stalker hunter in warburg who was equipped with tactics and so could see and hunt me. Had a huge smile on my face when killed someone and managed to escape the rest of his team. Thought I was safe and so started to rest and then heard the build up sound. Life flashes before me and what do you know, im alive. The stalkers attack missed, que unrest, placate, AS and impale as said stalker jumps into the distance only to die mid flight. Beautiful.
So in conclusion I guess a very good week (also got a couple of Hami O's too).

Anyway, any particular plans/tactics for Thursday? Not sure how you guys do your raids so I'll need a quick brief before we start on what to target etc.
(Bloody busy week for me this week. Synapse TF tonight, A hero event Wednesday and this raid Thursday. Don't know when I'm going to be able to fit HO farming this week!)

The Raid against the Horde was ok - was doing well until a mass dc and then was quite disorganised and lost the momentum we had. We had destoryed there rez rings but were totally screwed after the mass dc. The Horde then base camped which made picking us off very easy. However at least we were given the chance to give them a taste of there own medicine .
Was very happy with the turnout and how much effort we put into being semi organised e.g. getting shivans etc. The more raids we do the better we get as everyone will have an understanding of what is needed/expected.
From the raid I think I will have to edit our base slightly. Dont think I be changing our colour scheme to much. Dont know how the Horde can stand going in there own base, my eyes hurt!
Also we shall be attempting a supergroup Recluse Strike Force this coming Monday (4th September) probably 6 ish. I think we have a good chance of completing this as a sg as we seem to have all the components needed except vengance.

Would also like to welcome some of our newest recruits. For some reason people are wanting to join us and who am I to say no. As such those that have been inactive for awhile (over two weeks) we probably find themselves temporary kicked - when they are back on we try and get them back into the supergroup or offer them a home in our alt sg.
Have to say had a very busy weekend which meant lots of prestige and fun had by all. The Respec and St Martial TF was completed (eventually) after several deaths at the end. I am now concentrating on getting them cursed accolades for my alts so if anyones got the strike breaker mish give me a shout!
