I've got one villain... he/she could join, if it ment there'd be a better chance of achieving her goal (revenge on someone in Paragon)... so why not?

Right.. Ghost and I found out a couple of things last night Re bases.
1) Kicking a member from the SG, when all prestige is spent, DOES cause prestige debt; BUT, the base remained as functional as it was before (we have no functional items)
2) Inviting team members works fine BUT the team leader must be outside the base for teammates to enter
3) Being kicked from the teams while inside the base does NOT kick you out the base!! That means you can get loads of people inside if you want
If anyone wants to take a look around, let me or Ghost know and we'll show you around! 
We've set it up to represent several locations, Gravs magic library, Tower of Powers office and mainly Ellie and Mileena's house/fortress. I did a little bit of the design but Ghost did 95% of it, he's pretty good at layout I think!!
As our mains are already in an SG, and Jester wants an IC reason for a coalition, we've both rolled low level alts of our mains to facilitate access. Jessica Stoneberg and Ellie. Once CK sorts out his CoV code problem, I imagine there'll be a lowbie alt of Yoko too, and Mileena also has access. We're going to do a similar thing for Jedi too. If anyone needs a short term alt for prestige bonus, I'll he happy to help them out as well, may as well get some good use out of that 14 trial code I got with CoV!

I'm guessing that this debt causes a "problems" when redecorating though, as I assume any sold items are immediately "hocked" to pay off the debt?
Yes, that's very likely.
However, if I may point out a novel use for the trial codes we all got when we bought CoV. An account that gets suspended at the end of the 14 days trial doesn't remove the toons from SG's until 3 months of inactivity...

Just for the record, it also means you can't reuse those names for that period, and you can't reactivate the account to delete them without a full retail code...

We seem to lack rpers in both CoH and CoV. Anyhting that brings us together has to be good.
As people have probably noticed by now, Coalitioned SG's can in fact enter each other's bases, which relieves some of the obvious strain required in suiting a base to everyone's needs.
Of course, the funding of separate bases is still an issue...
In fact, you can even coalition between villain and hero SG's and still enter each others bases... Which has some VERY interesting RP connotations!

I would humbly suggest that most of the roleplayers have probably had plans for the last couple of months regarding their villains and groups they might like to set up. I know Lilith's background thoroughly, she's been in planning for a while. I also know the villain group she should belong to.
For the sheer hell of it, I might hook her into the Concordat initially. Why not, for 10 levels she can't have her own group.
As for the 'get a lot of solo types together to level' thing... I think we'll largely end up with the same group of friends together. SG's really do seem to have some IC/OOC reason for existance beyond levelling, and maybe even RP. If they don't have that, they either never achieve critical mass, or fall apart again once formed.
