I have to say that since getting Eagle's Claw, I get quite a few comments from team-mates along the lines of 'Cool attack'. So we certainly win on style.

Style, class and most importantly looking really good in a fight. I am afraid DM/DA fails on all those points.

Even if it didn't, its claimed uberness only means that it takes less skill to play effectively than Martial Arts. The weakest warrior is the one with the strongest weapon.

What he said . Martial Arts has inherent accuracy boosts and greater chance of criticals. Low activation time and the opportunity to go "Weeeoooahhhh!" In a high pitched voice ala Bruce Lee every time you kick the [censored] out of another boss. What looks cooler than jumping over a balcony and landing next to an enemy and rearranging their kidneys with a well placed eagles claw? - backflip-tastic.

Broadsword, Katana and Claws? In a game where we don't kill anyone it always kinda confused me; what are you doing with those blades exactly?

Spines? Well it's just silly for a start - they sound like a bowl of rice crispies standing next to you and that animation is annoying.

Dark Melee? Aside from annoying graphics and sound this powerset is about as super-heroic as Fred West's patio set.

This is one reason why I never made a scrapper with these power, especially the sword ones. Also Claws have a ranged attack ???

Its main problem is that it really limits your character outfit. Cloaks look silly with spines. I only use my cloak for travelling and posing. A really nice mix of powers, but a little short on the single target attacks.

Err yes I guess so. The graphics aren't as annoying as Spines, and the whole thing is really nice with a combination of great damage and some useful status effects.

I've never used Martial Arts.

Note that a lot of the powersets lean towards various origins. Most would need a lot of justification to be Tech and 3 of them can easily be natural.

Tech story behind Katana/Broadsword/Claws could be that they were made by the person using them. The Claws could be apart of gloves.. Trying to justify the secondaries is harder I think. Nanobots making you Regen Faster maybe? Or Implants for Super Reflexes?

Please stop making threads like this since it will get Devs attention and maybe do something about us.

Martial Artists are well known due to they`re insane damage output on one targes, but against many targets a spines scrapper would do better for example. I am fine with that . We are the ones meant to target the big bosses.

They actually increased the effectiveness of many of the MA powers in I6
they must have felt they were underpowered in the first place..

Also Dev's listening to the Euro Forums that would be nice, hmmm
