/WP Question on Regen...
My regen focused WP tanker build has approximately 600% base regen, with no foes in RttC. At six foes in range, she has more than 825%, Right now I do not have every regen bonus I plan on taking ultimately.
As an experiment, I am now levelling a WP tanker that will focus more on +defense bonuses than on +regen and +hp bonuses, to see if that performs better. This will take some time, because I will not pay inflated AH prices for the needed sets. But initial results are rather encouraging, and suggest that defense rather than regen is the way to go for IOs. I probably shouldn't be saying so out loud; the gougers may read this.

I'm do it less for effect and more for personal amusement, lol. I worked out on paper how to fit in almost 5 of every +regen/+HP set bonus(not couting the +16%regen could only fit one of those). I just wanna see how high I can get it.
I regen 71.38 hp /sec with no foes in RTTC at level 50 on my wp tank.
I am an ebil markeeter and will steal your moneiz ...correction stole your moneiz. I support keeping the poor down because it is impossible to make moneiz in this game.
I'm regenerating 110.3 a second at level 50 with no foes. I went with a lot of regen and max HP. I guess I went that way because I miss the old days with my regen scrapper and wanted something that felt like that.
My WP Tanker isn't particularly regen focused and regens 45hp/sec with no enemies at 50.
Here's MrLiberty's WP/SS build that was cooked up in another thread a while back. 110 HP/s with one enemy in range, capped to all typed defense except psionic, 70% Smashing/Lethal resists, and capped HP. I don't think you can min-max much more than this, really. Note that the empty slots are for the PVP IOs.

Thats a nice build. Mine is gimped ion a few places for the proper spread of ridiculous regen, lol. For example i had to drop an invention slot into brawl so I could pop 2 pounding slugfest(8% regen) into it. But if I did my math right he'll have 5 of each and will just be a major annoyance to anything that doesnt 1 shot him, lol.
I'm working on a heavy regen WP build, like unnecessarily over min/maxed kinda regen build, lol. But I wanted to get some basis for comparison so My question is, What is your Level, +regen numbers? (% and HP per sec) I just wanna see what kind of numbers are typical for various levels.
