Yes, and with high end set IO builds, Any combonation of the following couild do it.
Dark/, Rad/, Cold/, Storm/
And
/Sonic, /Ice.
Keep in mind some builds do it easier then others.
Oh, and in i16 I imagine Traps/ will be capable of it as well. I would even say /AR might, if you can get the AV immobalized inside of stacked Ignite patches.
Rad/sonic is the current AV champion for defs. I wouldn't say it is a mindless process though, it does require some involvement.
Or wait for traps in i16. It should take the throne quite easily. Traps fenders should become the "best" blueside Big Game Hunter including GM's and other Monster class foes.

See topic. Girlfriend knows all about the badass Blasters and Scrappers that can solo AVs with their dong while doing the macarena to Rick Astley in the background, but her favorite classes are the Controller and Defender.
So, she'd like to know--is it possible to solo AVs, not scaled-down EBs, as a Defender? If so, what would be good powersets to do it with?
