Here was my old post I made for the forums. It doesn't work anymore, but here it is:

Funny thing tho.... I don't use the rep system except for LoLs....

BUT if you look at the Forum Policies, they specifically state (which I am from time to time guilty of, but no more guilty of than all these SPAM and Cross Posting threads about AE):

5. Non-Constructive posts are prohibited.

* Spam - this is considered to be repetitive posting of the same topic or text or nonsensical posts that have no substance and are often designed to annoy other forum users.
* Do not create threads/posts to “petition” or “lobby” for game features, additions, changes, or other issues. You may post suggestions and/or ideas to the boards, but you may not create a ‘petition’ for others to sign. This is bumping in disguise and will not be allowed. Lobbying is continually bringing up the same topic repeatedly in numerous different threads or as an off-topic post in official threads to get developer attention. This form of posting is not permitted.
* Cross posting - As a courtesy to others before beginning a new thread, please look to see if an active thread on that topic has already been established using the Search feature. If so, place your comments there instead. Multiple threads on the same subject clutter up the forum needlessly and many good ideas may be lost. Use the Search link to keep discussions about one topic to one thread only.
* "NERF X!" threads are removed for much the same reason as "I'm leaving" threads. They can turn into threads with little or no constructive information.
* Thread necromancy - Necro-posting is responding to an old discussion thread and is a form of thread ‘bumping’. If you wish to discuss a considerably older topic, create a new post and link to the older discussion.


SO In all actuality, I was actually (and more politely than I currently am) pointing out violations of forum rules. The links I provided are in the first 4 pages, and are all no more than 5 months old. None of them are "necro posting"

As for anonymous lowering of rep, I will happily point out that cowards hide behind the mask of anonymity. If you want to say something, come out and say it. Whats the worst you can lose, a little pride, and rep points. Rep is a useless system that encourages people to not speak up for themselves. Either you speak the truth and anger someone, or you play a happy little cow and MOOve along.

Why don't they just regulate the spawns so they don't make more than 1-2 bosses per mob, and cap the level so it doesn't make more than a level 50, and viola, all farms would be instantly inferior to what you can get in Peregrine. Heck, why not limit mission level to the zone even, so you cant get a level 50 mission in atlas park. I could go on and on.

There are tons of good user suggestions on how to fix the damn thing out there, but they are moving too slow to implement stuff.
