it is. I've been watching Nei do her colors when I get the chance. It's pretty trippy watching artist do their magic. Next best thing to watch artists do their "sketches" at cons. heh

No she doesn't have two live steam accounts, this is a different artist. I'd be having an uber fangasm if I had snagged one from Nei, shouting from the rooftop and all that
So how does this wackiness work? You actually see everything going on on their computer? Man that would make me self-conscious.... that and then people would find out how often I get distracted and start Stumbling or flip through back issues of my digital Playboy subscription.
Yeah, he's on hold atm, checking on his cat. I think it's really neat although I couldn't sit for a really long time. This is only supposed to take about 3 hours or so. It's flown by really fast for me. He started at 7 central time.

...That is a fantasticly awesome idea, having a live stream of yourself drawing for people to watch. o_o I wonder what you need to do all that.. does she actually have a camera pointing down at her drawing, or does she feed what her monitor is seeing to it?
I asked all these same questions... he said the free version works perfectly fine, which is what he had used. And the software which is downloadable, hooks to either your desktop and only shows that, OR your camera if say you wanted to do a live video cast...

I got my Live Stream room up, but now I'm paranoid to be watched... it is so much fun though. I'm gonna get my courage up and maybe send out the link to a select few, to see if I can handle the pressure. I also noticed my pc and painter and LS and playlist are not happy campers... hard to work without music though.
I can understand the nerves, I know I wouldn't have the guts to work with everyone watching. I'd feel like a specimen 
but it is a great Idea. and i imagine the uses can be endless as a teaching tool for those watching. and could even be used as a teaching to for those painting, needless to say. I think live stream is awesome. 
It was amazing for me to watch. I also discovered a way to relive the experience. There is an on demand button you can click on and then you can re watch what an artist has done. Very cool. also you have the option of getting an embed code to post to myspace, etc. I posted it on my blog so I can go back and watch whenever I want ^.^
