Have you paid your rent lately? If you are way out of date on your rent it locks you out and sometimes this long load is because of that. Then it kicks you out.

I had this problem earlier in the week as well, Multiple people in the SG had the same problem. "Map Failed to Load" appeared in my Global tab. Is this the old "too many items" bug coming back to haunt us?

Not sure what might be causing it, but I'd recommend filing a /petition and explaining that it is happening to multiple account and computers so that they don't think it's just the one character or account.
It sounds like some type of base corruption.
EDIT: Do you happen to know if anyone was incorrectly awarded any of the Veteran badges early and placed one of the base items from those badges in the base? If so, and the Vet badges have since been removed, it can cause corruption in the base.
If the game spit out 20 dollar bills people would complain that they weren't sequentially numbered. If they were sequentially numbered people would complain that they weren't random enough.

My SG was having the same problem. I just upgraded the base this morning from the smallest plot to the second smallest plot and added a variety of things (extra energy aux, new control room, med room and med transporter, enhancement table, enpowerment station, misc decorative), as well as moving some rooms around.
A couple of us tried to log in and just sat at the loading screen for several minutes with minimal progress before killing the game from task manager, trying again, and still having no luck.
After sitting for a while discussing the problem, I went to the SG registrar in Atlas and confirmed that we owed no upkeep. Afterwards, the base loaded instantly.
Either it had been loading in the background while we waited, and the server finally recreated it, or something about talking to the registrar kicked it into gear. I guess I'll find out whether it was the former the next time I try to load in after no one's been in the base for a while.
Ran into this problem today. Visiting the registrar doesn't help, loading screen just hangs.

After working my way up the support ladder--not unlike playing a round of donkey kong as the first couple levels of support rolled flaming barrels of scripted "test this, check that, update your video drivers" at me--I finally got the issue escalated to the point where they performed some sort of "reset" on my sg base and it loads with no problem now. YMMV.

Having a Problem zoning into super group base, Been sitting at the loading screen for @30 min and while my status bar is moving, its very very slow, its taken me around 30 min to get 75% loaded. this is the second time in a row this has happened.
I can load into other zones just fine 15-20 seconds.
any help would be welcome.
