To Slot or Not To Slot ???

Ran the ITF last night and used the merits for a random recipe roll and landed the Numina Regen/Recovery or whatever it is. Is it worth slotting on a lvl 50 scrapper into one of my powers that takes heals or should I sell it for the 50 million it is going for ??? Is the 20% bonus worth it for a scrapper ??? I am not sure on this and would like some input from others. Thanks.

That's really going to depend on what type of Scrapper you have, what their slotting is, and what your goals are. In other words, there are a lot of variables. My recommendation is to mosey over to the Scrapper forum, post some info about your Scrapper there and get some opinions. In a lot of cases the Regen/Recovery is very useful for a Scrapper, but YMMV.

Protip: If you do decide to sell it, look into crafting it first. You might be able to get even more Inf. for it that way.

Well if I got that as a random roll I would use it on any toon I have.. Slot in health and enjoy..

Most of my 50s have it and if they dont just means I ripped it out for another.

Do you regularly run out of Endurance, or run low?

If not, I'd say that it isn't worth slotting, unless you have lots of slots devoted to End Reduction that you could then free up for Recharge, or some back up plan like that.

My scrapper is a spines/regen. I currently have no end problems and my health is only an issue when doing things like the ITF or going after the big groups on the wall in Cimerora or the RWZ. I am currently leaning towards selling so I can get a few more sets that offer melee and smahing damage defense bonuses.

slot it in health. always better to have it and not need it the need it and not have it.

As a one-off IO in a Spines Regen, I would sell it.

The amount of +Regen it grants isn't that meaningful to you because you already have so much from your powerset. You don't have endurance problems, so you probably don't need that.

So my bet is that your best return is to sell it and spend the profits on IOs that give +recharge bonuses, like Doctored Wounds (Reconstruction, Dull Pain), Crushing Impact (single-target melee attacks), etc.

I concur with Uberguy's assessment.

It's nice to add if you don't need the money and are already IO'd out to your satisfaction. Since that doesn't seem to be the case, sell it.

Sell at the high end of the going price range, then put in a lowball bid for the same recipe. You'll get ~10M free inf AND the enhancement.

I pretty much agree. I'd sell it, but then I'd probably go after global accuracy or global recharge bonuses.
