/SD and air superiority and noob FM/SD build
You'll want to pick up Conserve Power as your level 44 pick. The last 2 slots are personal preference really although I'd probably pick Grant Cover as one of them to give you some more defense debuff resistance.

No redraw. Only with claws, kat, bs, db, or spines would you have redraw.

Because you're Fire, you get enough weapon redraw from your primary; you won't notice it from AirSup.
On the other hand, since Shields is basically defense based, when you have enough primary powers for a smooth attack chain without noticeable pauses, you may want to consider a respec into the Jumping pool. Combat Jumping adds a couple points of defense at a negligible endurance cost, and that gets you that much closer to the cap. Super Jump goes everywhere but the Shadow Shard, and you can always buy the temp jet pack.

Fire Doesn't have any redraw. The making of the fire sword or whatever is part of the animation.

All my toons Ive ever taken to the Shadow Shard just have SJ or SS and they do fine... just get the VidiotMaps map overlay and buy a jetpack in case you miss a jump. Not that it will really matter because hardly anybody goes in there any more...
As president and only member of the just-now-founded Gravity Geyser Fan Club, I feel I should point out that people who need flight to get around the Shadow Shard, are wusses.
And shields never redraw at all, the thing is glued to your arm as long as the toggle is on.
I agree... I get around faster than they do 90% of the time using the geysers anyway. The only time it sucks is when you forget to turn off SJ or something and you don't quite make it, but thats what the GvE jump pack and/or raptor pack is for.

Yeah, no, the fan club has been around sorry. Small though I'll admit. I don't think I know anyone in it that isn't on my global, lol.

I'm working to try and make my first /SD character. I've chosen to go with FM b/c it's another power I haven't tried out yet. With SD does Air superiority cause a redraw animation?
Also, I've got a basic understanding of trying to slot FM but I have no clue about SD. Everything I see is with expensive IOs and I will likely lvl up with on SOs.
I plan this to be an overall generall build, able to solo, group and a bit of aoe as well.
Any help would be appreciated on how to finish out the slotting or make changes to the build.
Thanks
