Only procs each 10 seconds, I find it a waste. YMMV.
I put 5 procs and 1 recharge in mine and it works fantastically. With my global recharge and hasten, caltrops is easily double or even triple stackable. 1 proc, however, may not be worth your time.

I wish the corr version of trops took the pbaoe sets.
Hate to say it though, but based on:
scrapper trops,
corr trops,
stalker trops,
dom thorntrops,
the MM version is bugged and shouldn't be accepting pbaoe sets.
