I don't seem to have anything saved, but I've seen Katana/Fire builds that would be perfectly AV-capable with a few tweaks in that direction. If I remember the approach, you combine soft-capped (or near) defenses with very good resists and a rapid fire self heal. The extra damage doesn't hurt either. Anyway, good job, Iggy. Nice to see Fire Armor kicking some [censored].

Well Nihilii solo about 100 at once 
I don't know the number but it was a lot more then 4 that is all I know.

fairly new to AV fights, but I always thought you had to negate their regen rate.. Are you just doing so much damage that you don't need -regen in any of your attacks?

Yep. AVs regenerate about 94 DPS. Most of the AV-killing builds probably do twice that or more.
(Edit: I'm probably small potatoes with about 175 DPS on both of my mains, but it's enough.)

Indeed. Being kat/regen, a decent bit of my DPS is killed by the need to use Divine Avalanche, along with weapon redraw after clickies, but even despite that, it's pretty high.

they were: custom mastermind av, marauder, infernal, adamastor, some council or 5th column av, and one other i forgot
he had like 100 or more avs in the room and soloed them but the aggro cap s 17. he has a vid of it on wegame somewhere if u wanna look for it blademaster

I had no idea /inv could withstand that much damage. That's pretty impressive. I wonder why I don't see more of them running around.

a dm/regen from the eu soloed three avs at once but i forgot what avs
a claws/regen from the eu soloed the itf without insp and temps by pulling the avs at the end and killing one at a time

I refused to post my builds for a time... but that was because I didn't want Castle to see them.
And then my brain started working again and I realized that Castle could get my build whenever he wanted.
I'm still waiting for the day when Castle catches me on the test server and drops a planet on my head.

[/ QUOTE ] I have no problem giving advice... just some of us spends days...weeks on a build... but most of the time I usually have multiple builds, so I don't mind sharing the ones I don't use...
I don't mind sharing my builds with others. I see builds like engineering, once someone has a great idea, everyone should know about it. Remember two heads are better then one.

I think there's just a level of friendly competition here, and some folks want to hold on to their edge so to speak. If people don't know exactly what you've got under the hood then their imagination sometimes runs wild. I know I have looked at some videos and thought "Wow! I bet he can do anything with that 'toon!"
The reality is that the player in question didn't post the 200 attempts he made at soloing 5 AVs under a Pylon during a raid in the dark. 
Having that mystique is fun!
Then there is a certain feeling of ownership I think. I have spent hours and hours creating one build. Hell, some weeks I think I spend more time in Mids than in Paragon City lol. After awhile it feels like you are actually crafting something. I guess you are, in fact. It feels personal and it may even feel like work. I could understand a mentality that feels like the creator is the only one entitled to the fruits of his labors.
I like sharing though, that's just my take on why some folks keep tight lipped.

I'm honestly not sure. I'm in a possibly bad habit of ignoring any debuffs that I have since AVs resist them so much. It kind of looks like a +7 would resist 92% of my defense debuffs, but I'm not sure if I'm looking at the right table.

You are. That's the appropriate table. And that's 92% resistance to pretty much everything that can be resisted, including damage.
