Copy the contents of the CoH folder on the first computer to a DVD, or if the computers are on a network together just share out the folder. Copy all of those files and folders to a folder on the second computer. If you used a DVD to copy them, make sure that the permissions are not set to read-only now.
Copy the Updater to the desktop, run it, do NOT accept the default location instead point it to the folder on the second computer where you copied the folders and files from the first computer to.

easy solution.

If the game spit out 20 dollar bills people would complain that they weren't sequentially numbered. If they were sequentially numbered people would complain that they weren't random enough.

The error i keep getting is this on that file and others:

"checksum failed on piggs/tex/VWorld/pigg
Click ok to do a full checksum of all files.

You may be out of disk space or you may be trying to install to a location where you have insufficient permissions.

MainFrame, that's a different problem and you should really start your own thread.

If you click OK to do a full checksum, what is the result?

Have you tried using the Verify Files button?

Post a log from running CoH Helper as it will give information about your system and the CoH installation and settings.

Second, post a log from running HijackThis. This will show what else is going on on your computer while you are playing CoH.

LucoEnergy, one of the steps I always forget that goes with the instructions I gave in my first post here is to delete the coh.checksum file before launching the Updater.

I remember it when I'm doing it manually, but I forget when typing it out for others.

This is not happening whie i play, it is happening on the installation. I click ok and it continues to check the files, until the next pop up shows up, with a different piggs file.
Will check coh helper and hijack this and see what comes up.

Mainframe, what you want to do is something completely different.

Run a test on your computer's RAM. Use Memtest86 or a similar program in order to check to see if your ram is going bad. If you have any errors at all, you have a bad stick of RAM in your computer.

This same issue caused me a great deal of frustration a few years ago with a different game.

LucoEnergy, you better do a disk check on that computer, it may have bad sectors on the hard drive.

MainFrame, bad memory is very likely. If you've got Vista, just search your computer for 'memory' and the Memory Diagnostice program should pop right up. Bad hard drive sectors are also possible so, if the memory test doesn't work, do a disk check. (The 'common solutions' topic explains it all.)
