Interesting Interaction With Customer Support

So I'm running the first mission of the Ghost Widow patron arc on Victory yesterday, and I cleared the map (and clicked the glowie) but the mission did not complete. I fired up a petition and waited patiently for CS.

A short while goes back and I get a response from a GM asking if I still needed help. Here's where the fun starts.

I replied to the tell stating that I did still need help and explained the issue.

A few seconds go by and the GM asks again if I need help and if I am getting his tells.

I respond again.

He then posts -the same thing- in local chat and also adds in that my character may be unresponsive or AFK.

I respond in local chat.

And still nothing. And then he leaves.

Has anyone ever encountered something like that before?

I haven't had this happen to me but I have read about it happening to others. My guess is he had Villain chat turned off, that was the case in the other scenarios.

This happens often.

Now the GMs hate villains!

Actually, send a PM to Nivienne about it... this is starting to become too common.

A workaround is to use a global channel and ask a hero to send a /tell to the GM to enable their hero chat.

Couldn't you get the global name of the GM and send them a global tell?

Honestly I don't know why the GMs don't use global tells anyway.

[/ QUOTE ] This.. it would make it easier to communicate about an issue after switching characters... instead of using the longer process of waiting for an e-mail.
