Question about Kismet proc and touch of death set

Okay I have an odd question..

Lets assume your an energy melee brute, and in ALL your melee attacks (Bone Smasher, Energy Transfer, Total Focus, etc) you have 6 slotted touch of death set at lvl 40. The accuracy appears low for each attack since you only get 2 IO's in the set that have Accuracy to it.

How much of a benefit would a Kismet +ToHit proc be in Combat Jumping to these attacks accuracy? How many would it take to actually make a substantial difference?

More significant that it appears at first glance.

Kismet +Acc is a misnomer, it grants +6% ToHit.
Accuracy and ToHit are actually different mechanics:

Sorry I am at work, I meant to say ToHit I have 3 of them laying around and wanted to see the impact it would make on this idea I have with touch of Death. The set just alarms me a bit because of the low accuarcy it gives as a whole. Sorry for the confusion. *re-edits OP*

The "Kismet: +Accuracy" is a Unique, so you can only slot one...

But, just the one doing its actual effect of +06% To Hit should help your build fairly significantly.

Edit = left out a word, oops.

We can't tell you concretely how much it'd help you. To know that, we'd need to know:

*) Accuracy in your powers (in case you're using non-max lvl ToD)
*) Global Accuracy
*) Any misc tohit you have (Invincibility, for example)

From there it'd be easy to generate a table of tohit chances for enemies of varying levels. (It would further modified by enemy defense and tohit debuffs, of course.)

Because that set has suck [censored] accuracy I always go with the kismet unique as well as a few accuracy set bonuses to at least get it to 2 SO's worth of accuracy.

That's the major downside to using those sets for +def IMO. You are dependent on +acc set bonuses because the sets have so little, so the build doesn't exemplar well at all. Great for farming or just running ITFs I guess, but I generally like my builds to exemplar decently.

Ditto this. I use the Kistmet unique for the tohit buff, and try to get at least 2-4 +Acc set bonuses elsewhere on characters that are using full Touch of Death sets for def buffs.
