new to the game... kinda.
1.) If someone doesnt' respond in 5 seconds like I bet they will, you can ask in the Virtue section of the forums.
2.) Some, but AE is also popular at all levels.
3.) Run story arcs, AE story arcs, and some newspaper/radios. Remember, this game is more so about getting to 50 than being 50. Enjoy the journey

This. CoX has very lacking PvP content, and virtually no PvP going on in the PvP zones to begin with. Hell, I've been so surprised to see another player on a Shiva-run that I was completely compelled to hunt him down and then promptly lost the five meteor shards I collected.
Anyway, yes, barely any PvP content, so that's no reason to get to 50. But there's also the fact that the end-game only has about as much content as the other level-ranges. The reason being that every level-range has about the same content. You are MEANT to progress through the game at a jogging pace, or even a leasurely walking pace. If you hit 50 ASAP, you will have missed most content. (yeah yeah, there's still Ouroboros, but that exemplars you, anyway, so what's the point of doing everything retroactively?)
So to repeat myself one last time, this is an enjoy-the-ride game. "50" is only a number, not the goal of the game.

I'd make this my signature if I had room left.
Quoted for emphasis, as this fact can't be stressed enough now-a-days.

1. I'm rolling on Virtue, any SGs that recruit newbs?
[/ QUOTE ]
Any good SG would be happy to invite a newb and help him/her get acquainted (or in this case, reacquainted) with the game.

2. Does anyone still run sewer groups?
[/ QUOTE ]
I know I do, when I make a new character. It is sometimes a PITA to get one going now with the glut of people running AE "missions."

3. Quickest way to level up?
[/ QUOTE ]
Honestly, this question is pretty pointless. There is no point in leveling quickly. I am not trying to be rude, but simply to state the difference between this game and others on the market. As others have said, it is most definately about the journey to 50 and not the destination that is important.
However, one of the best ways (XP-wise) to gain levels is to get yourself on large teams doing story arcs and also to run TFs/SFs. Both give more XP than radio missions or standard MA missions. Were I you, I would avoid the AE like the plague until you have gotten yourself familiar with everything that exists outside of it... after all, you have as long as you play the game to play in the AE, but you only get this one experience of re-learning and exploring the (new parts of the) game for the first time.

I want you to drill this into your head until you start having nightmares about AE. Seriously, we don't need another AE baby on our hands (FYI, an AE baby is someone who reaches level 50 through AE farms, but knows next to nothing about the really basic stuff)
So, please take the time to read everything. Enjoy the lore of the game, and don't play with "gotta get level 50!" as your only goal.

Got Inf?
Thanks for the advice guys. Anyway i have no idea what an AE is so i think im all good. The toughest part for me so far i think was choosing what i wanted to be. I had only limited exposure to some of the archetypes. think the highest i ever got to was about level 20 on a rad/rad defender awhile back. Took me awhile to figure out exactly what i wanted to level but ended up deciding on claw/dark scrapper.
Also, someone gave me like 4 50+, im guessing i should just sell them since half of them aren't my origin. Just making sure this is a smart thing to do so i don't end up /facepalming myself later.
And btw whoever gave me them thanks!!! was alt tabbed when it happened lol.

If they're round, sell them at the store for their origin (closest would be in Steel Canyon). If they are hexagonal, you need to come back here and give us the specific names on the enhancements; some of those could be quite valuable.
"AE" is Architect Entertainment, the user-generated content. And yes, you should stay away from it for now.
EDIT: Oh and Welcome to the Game . Please feel free to come back with any questions.
There just round so i guess i gotta find my way to steel canyon to sell them.
Oh ok that makes it a lot easier.

you can sell them is atlas to the store there.

Not for full price. He'll get half what he should from the Training Origin stores, and Wentworth's would be discounted as well if he tried that.
So after being incredibly bored by WoW and various other MMOs on the market, i decided to give COH a try. I played it awhile ago but i didn't really give it a chance. There are so many more archtypes now its so hard for me to figure out what i want to do. Anyway have some questions.
