Fire/Energy What an amazing combo!

All i have to say is WOW! This combo goes together so well. All the kb is great for keeping foes off of you and putting enemies on their back for your imps. Im enjoying this build so much, im actually soloing missions, lol.

I decided to make it a perma dom and now i se why people go perma, it's a totally different game when perma. You feel sooo powerful.

Is there anyone else that feels the same way about this build?

don't listen to anitmatter...I've been saying F.ire/Energy rocks for a while now...it's a great synergy.

Fire/Energy was good before the damage buff. Its been recommended on the boards more than one. Since /Energy got its massive round of buffs, I can only assume its become even more amazing.


My level 50 Dominators:
Madame Mindbender 50 Mind/Energy
Fly Agaric 50 Plant/Thorn
Nate Nitro 50 Fire/Psi

There's no special synergy between the two. It's not like the KB allows you to do anything you couldn't otherwise do with fire/, especially since it's only single target.

Synergy maybe not...

Powerboost plus Flashfire....pwnage. And lots of it. And jeesh paring the most damaging primary with the most damaging secondary couldn't possibly help at all....


My level 50 Dominators:

It is a good combo. My Fire/Energy was level 33 before the recent Dom buffs. I did a respec and worked in Power Push (dropping slots in Hover/Fly) and so now I have 4 single target attacks. It is pretty nasty in conjunction with PB+Flashfires and Fire Imps.

Yup, I've had alot of fun with this combo.


In fact, I had one to lvl 50 about 2 years ago on an old account that I've since retired, and loved it then. Thanks to the new dominator changes, I've recently re-rolled him on one of my existing accounts just to have it again lol and I love it just as much! Fun combo, though you do have to be wise with KB when teaming

When teaming I tend to spam holds, bone smasher, and total focus. If i use my ranged attacks its for the foes that have broke away from the mob. I position my self when attacking them to where when i knock them back it pushes them back into the mob thats held.

I have no problems with flashfire, once its duration wears off from PB its ready again. It's even faster since my guy is a Perma dom.

Flash Fire's recharge is the same as earth's Stalagmites. The problem is that earth has plenty of other mitigation tools while Flash is pretty much all there is for fire when the battle starts. So yes, you'll surely notice it not being up more than an earth dom with his Stalagmites.

That being said, Fire/Energy is the most rounded combo. Fire has AOE, Energy is almost exclusively ST. Fire has sad control, Energy has plenty of control.

Fire's hold doesn't stop KB which makes the combo great for PvP. Yes yes I know LoL PvP but from what I know of the new mechanics knockback is very usefull so having a hold that doesn't -kb would be great.

Also, Energy has plenty of attacks to put the Force Feedback proc on which will greatly increase your recharge times.

I tried Fire/Energy but I'd been playing up my earth/energy lately so, even though it rocked hard, I was getting sick of red pom poms of doom.
