Base salvage to brainstorms used to count, but this was stopped by a delieberate chnage.
Fastest way is to craft and delete empowerment buffs, this eats through inf like crazy.
My way of choice is to craft and sell at a profit common IOs.

Back in the day I crafted 1000 level 10 Damage IOs and handed them out to newbies with no vet rewards in atlas. Took a couple months of casual crafting. It also drove up the prices of Brass and Carbon Rods.

I remember a red name saying that Brainstorms to Salvage may be an option to count in the future and that they were mining how long it was taking to get to 1k crafts before making the decision. Or something to that effect.

This. Pick a memorization badge tier, craft those, then continue until you hit 1,000. It's a long road, but a steady one. I've been doing this for about the last 2k crafts getting to Fabricator. Still got another 2k to go.
Overall the quickest is to buy up salvage and craft empowerment buffs, if influence is no object. Nowadays salvage prices are so all over the board you could really pay through the nose for it though.
Main Character: Ice/Storm/Ice Controller (Justice, 1340 badges)
I would of sworn doing conversions counted toward this but today they weren't. So what is the quickest way to obtain this for the accolade?
