AE Corp. should charge us to use their services.
1 million inf? Yeah, good luck finding any of the jems that way! You might as well just remove AE from the game and be done with it.
I don't like the idea at all, AE is supposed to be an alternative way to level 1-50, as well as allow players to create new content. A lot of the player base has run ALL the content in the game countless times... the Devs simply can't make content fast enough, so they found a solution to the content starvation problem with AE. It just needs some more refinement, just like the non-AE content went through years of changes to keep a lid on excessive farming... and there are still non-AE farms.

Well I know 1 million isn't that much to me, but I've been playing a long time. I would definitely pay to level up in AE.
There should be some fee. Why are they letting us use their expensive equipment anyway?

[/ QUOTE ]In other words, lets make it so the Elite can farm in peace while all that riff raff is kept out? Yeah, I'm gonna say 'no'.

Clarification request - do you mean to charge the million for publishing the arc, or for playing it?
The Abrams is one of the most effective war machines on the planet. - R. Lee Ermy.
Q: How do you wreck an Abrams?
A: You crash into another one.
Just throwing the suggestion of fees in there. I was thinking of the missions, but for making an arc is good too.
And yes, I don't mind the elite or people who have been here a long time having an advantage.
Ironically, the only people who would be able to constantly afford such an absurd and pointless cost would be the farmers.

The intention behind the mission architect is for any character to use it as an alternate leveling path from 1-50. Anything that restricts the ability to do so is a bad idea. And yes, it's still a bad idea even if you think it will reduce farming.
Yeah, I see your points. But things are going to change soon, and I'm afraid people are not going to like the results, of how it is fixed. The way we are leveling up characters so fast is ridiculous.
They do charge us. But in USD which we don't see as a game mechanic.

Can you maybe cite a source for this prediction and explain how the changes you know are coming are worse than castrating the entire Architect system such that only farmers will ever get to use it?

Unfortunately, I do have a problem with it. Veterans already have enough of an advantage.

AE should be a for profit corporation that charges heroes/villains to hone their skills.
I understand why people are upset about how the AE is being used. Set a upfront charge to play an arc to get some people to want to play the regular content.
1,000,000 inf for each arc would definitely keep the people who are just joining the game from focusing entirely at Atlas/Mercy.
Another good inf sink to help keep down inflation would be nice too.
