Canadian Heroes ...

It seems we have a bunch of Canadian Heroes running around in here. I was given a challenge to make a lumberjack version. I'm going to post my results here but feel free to share your Canadian Heroes here as well!

The US has Statesman, the 5th Column has Reichsman but Canada has...

Nice job again, Doc.

So I attempted to make a flanel shirt warrior last night and had no joy. The best I could do was a T-Shirt with the maple leaf on in it. I gave him jeans, work boots, the lumberjack axe and no gloves. I'll post a pic of him tonight.

Here's some questions I thought I could ask the toon building experts.

1. Is there anyway to get a plaid shirt?
2. How about suspenders?
3. What color do you use for jeans? I couldn't find a color I liked.
4. Any recommendations for a work belt? I was using the standard belt and the small illit (sp?) version.

Well I made a few ...

I have my ice/ice blaster Capt Quebec that was just a taunt by the designers when the game came out. When I saw the "Fleur de Lys" I basically said ... if I can get the name without doing weird stuff like replacing "i"s by "1"s ... I would create him ... and the name was available (didn't have the room at the time to write "Capitaine" so ... )

Then there is Canuck Spirit (ice/kin troller), Capt Canada (inv/ice tank) and Canadian Kid (rad/rad def). But my favorite has to be my Lady Canuck SD/Axe tank who wields a lumberjack axe with her military helm and the maple leaf on a cavalier shield. (I'll try to find a SS of her, I have none handy)

Edit: Found one Lady Canuck

I have to say I find it quite humourous that we all totally embrace the stereotype the world has of Canada (that it's always cold) as most of the Canadian heroes have Ice abilities.

Also Provincialman wields a lumberjack axe and I noticed someone else made one with that too, haha.

i'll have to post my pics for all you you fellow Canucks.
i have been in the game since day 1 and my first ice/ice blasters name is Canadian Canuck. i have a eng/ice tanker named Quebecois, an ice/emp Canadianna Canuck, a ice/eng blaster Canadianne and my dark/dark scrapper Sammsquanch, a Ice/shield tank Yetie plus many others over 2 accounts. they mostly all have a Mountie costume slot on each of them aswell.
what servers do you all play on? i'm on Guardian with my sg named The Canucks which is a solo sg with everything in the base if any want to place a toon there? i don't play as much as of late as we all know we have to take advantage of the warm summer while its here.

btw how could you be a Canuck without being Canadian? Just wondering ...

and if you have a Villain (I recommend lvl 22+) and would like to face a Canadian SG in an MA Arc try my arc (@Thornster) called "The Heart of Artemis" ... I tried to give the Canadian Heroes in there some fun personalities.

The new Renegade hat or whatever with the Magic pack might be better to use for a Mountie hat. Brim may be a little large, but it may work.

My Canadian alt isn't ice-based. He's an AR/Devices blaster.

I'll have to take some screenshots later.

I love the costume ... those sleeves are very cool and I like how it's the "official" uniform but ... ladylike! Very well done!
