Once you earn the respec you can choose any one of the Patron Pools regardless of the arc you completed.

Actually, since I think I-14 you can do a Patron Arc, get the Badge and chose whatever Patron you want immediately. No need to Respec. The Patron Power Respec was made to allow a late adopter (say lvl45 when finished with the Patron Arc) to adjust their build to take the Patron Power Pools at the Lvl 41 point during the PP Respec. So, if you finish the Patron Arc at Lvl 40, there is no need to Respec; just take the Patron Power Pool you want at 41. At least that's what I did with a toon that hit 41 after Issue 14 dropped.

That's what I thought. Bah. I'm going to have to respec anyway because my finished build has the Black Scorpion pools now and I have Ghost Widow and the toon is only 47. So I might as well just get him to 50 then respec instead of respecing at 47. Thanks for the info guys

Doing ANY Patron arc simply unlocks all the Patrol pools now. You can pick any one you want, and you can respec into a different one any time you want as well.
Ironically I hardly ever respec since I only have like 2 red toons but I was wondering. I remember the devs giving us the ability to respec into different patron pools but I can't remember how it works. First I have to finish a specific patron arc like say Ghost Widow and earn the patron respec which also opens the powers in their pool. Now when I respec though can I then pick Mako or Black Scorpion in the respec window? Thanks
