Because of base changes, I find that many people are creating their own SGs these days and enjoy using their creativity to build a place of their own. It seems most people meet friends and regular groups off global channels and joining events in this forum instead.
I am not trying to discourage you, and I hope you find an SG that meets your needs.. There are still a few great active groups out there. I just wanted to give you other options.
I'd invite you to my SG and VG.. the bases have everything you'd ever need.. We have more prestige than we'd ever need, so we don't even use SG mode anymore. You are free to do anything you like. The only downside is.. we aren't active anymore either. A couple of us are on every day, but that's about it. lol
If you decide to make your own place, you can certainly coalition with me and use my teleporters while you get started.
Well a couple of our alts are on everyday. I have also decided to try out that base building with a sg for my lowbies.

Hiya.....I have been around this game pretty much from launch and have been in a few SGs over the years....the one I am in currently is rather small and never on anymore...so I was wondering if there are any SGs with a decent size player base recruiting...???....
I have checked the SG thread but alot of posts have SGs that the websites are no longer valid (I do like to check out the sg website if possible...LOL)...
I play both sides and have 7 level 50's hero side and 6 villain side...I really miss playing with a group of friends and pugs have been rare of late....
I am around quite a bit and would love to make some new friends...
