Is it an old base from before the i13 base-item cost revamp?
I usually wait the recommended 6 weeks until the power in my Base is shut off to pay Rent. On a few occasions, I still had no power after the Rent is paid. The work around I discovered was to sell the Power generator (I forget the name), then buy and place it again. This clears the problem up for me.
Teams are the number one killer of soloists.

Agreed. The few times I have had the same problem, this has always worked.

Thanks for your advice. The base is on a server I haven't played on for months. I tried selling the supercomputer and the generator and replacing them but it didn't make a difference. Any other suggestions?
Try petitioning, a GM should be able to fix any problems.

Yep, this is a known bug, and it happens most frequently to bases that have been idle for a while. A GM should be able to fix it quickly, though you might want to make allowances for the holiday weekend.

/seconded. Though even then, they've usually been pretty quick about it.
Had this happen, myself, recently. i had to pay up the rent to date (it was only slightly overdue) before selling and repurchasing my power item (forget the name) made a difference. i'm pretty sure that i relogged somewhere in there, too. (i think i changed from a Rank 2 character to my character that is SG leader after paying rent.)
