is anyone else having a problem with toggles dropping after exiting a mission?i will wait after last kill to rest up in case of ambush or a raid, and then will exit with all toggles up and running to end up outside with all toggles turned off. whats up with that and should i put this in the tech/bugs column?

This bug has been around forever. It seems to get really bad after each new Issue, then slowly fade as they release performance-improving patches.

If it's really bad for you, /bug it when it happens. Include the server you were on and the zones you came from and went to. If one is a mission, include the mission and contact names. It doesn't hurt to add date and time, but I'm fairly sure that's included in the info packet automatically sent in every /bug report.

This won't guarantee a fix, or even that a fix gets implemented quicker, but the more data they have, the better chance they have of figuring it out.

Basically it occurs because the server and client get unsynced as you exit the mission, and it thinks you've been offline for a substantial amount of time and turns off your toggles. If you check your XP bar when it happens, you'll see you got a little chunk of patrol XP, even though you never actually logged off.

...I forgot what experience means.

Yup. It's especially noticeable on my warshade, since i never go human with her if i can help it. So, zoning i'll start as my squid and end as human. Kinda annoying.

IIRC it is a sync issue when the server shards you are zoning between have different server times. (was it Ghost Falcon that announced it when they figured it out?)
Anyway, when it happens it's worth doing a /servertime for the shards (zones) affected and if it is different on both sides, then include it in a /petition.
(A /bug would go to the Devs and a server time discrepancy wouldn't be adjusted quickly.)

Edit to correct local/ server / lack of coffee issues.

/localtime is the time reported by your own computer's clock. If that is changing dramatically, then you've got more issues than just toggle dropping.

lol
