you can use the karma or steadfast sets
karma is a defense set and steadfast is a resist damage set
also theres are a ton of new pvp sets like the resist damage and pbaoe sets that have kn protection in the bonus's themselves
Blessing of the Zephyr: Knockback is one as well that you can get.

And the Knockback set, forget the name...let me look that up: Kinetic Crash. Slot 4 of them into, say, Kick (need Boxing or Kick to get Tough) and you get 3 points right there. And they are CHEEEEEEEEAP.
I suggest the Blessing of the Zephyr if you can afford it as you can put it in a travel power (i.e. doesn't waste a slot).
Steadfast has the nice def/res global, and a combination of two bumps recov 1.5%, a nice little addition to an end heavy primary especially if it's tripled in a build.
You might find that two -k/b io's offer a more desired result.

Steadfast Def/Res is one of the few that I greatly enjoy when I can get it at maximum level (30) cause of the added res and the defense. Pair that with the KB IO on a fire tank niiiiiiiiiiice!.

It should be noted that if you want to tank w/o getting KBd for medium to large teams in the upper levels, you are going to want 8+ mag KB protection. It's rare for anyone but a tank to see it, but KB does stack. If you recieve KB from multiple sources, with in a certain time frame (probably a server "tick" of the clock) all that KB will stack.

i have 10 kn on my fire tank..8 just wasnt enough...i used one steadfast and got the other 6 from glad armor bonus..one wasted slot for 10 kb aint bad

If you 6 slot that one you also get extra regen and 7.5% global rech. If you go kinetic crash route try and squeeze 2 extra slots and save the cash youde otherwise spend on a lotg.
What set do I need to buy so I don't have to take acrobatics for my kb protection? Thanks!
