If I can offer a suggestion:
I've noticed a trend in Stone Tanks and Brutes lately to raid in Granite form, and I have also noticed a significant increase in said Tanks and Brutes not being able to hold aggro. LJ (the Jesus one) and I noticed this the last time I lead the Scrapper team, as he and I were both pulling aggro from the Stone Tanks and summarily killing our team.
I'm not really sure what the reasoning is behind this, especially Granite + Rooted. With that much -Recharge, I am not shocked that they're not holding aggro the way they should.
So I suggest that we go back to not using Granite form at raids, and instead rely on either Rooted or Acrobatics. I think this will make a significant improvement to the speed and quality of the raids.

iggy's taunt is automatic and autohit....or maybe it's a toggle.

Ive never had a problem with aggro management with my SM/SA brute when it was taunting Hamidon. Likewise, I've never seen Toona loose aggro on his Stone Amour Brute. Both have been in Granite while taunting.
I'd suggest it may be either:
A) the player's slotting,
or...
B) the player's lack of being able to press the Taunt power button.

That wouldn't have surprised me in the least, actually. That raid was a mess at the beginning.
I'm still confused why you would have Granite on at a Hamidon raid, though. Hami's attacks deal special damage and are either autohit or have insano accuracy. Granite to me just seems like a waste of end and a self debuff for no benefit. Rooted, obviously, you should have on. Gotta have that status protection.

As the TauntBot I dont deal any real damage, so the damage debuff doesnt worry me.
The only real argument for not being in Granite mode, is the -recharge cost that is inflicted when the character is in it. However, i normally have atleast 1 Speed Boost on me, if not more. Not to mention Accelerated Metabolism, Enforced Morale, SG Base Buffs, IO Set bonus', LoTG +7.5%recharge IOs, etc.
In reference to the Endurance Drain reason for not running Granite; seriously, does cycling through Taunt, Ranged attack, Targeted AoE and Veteran Ranged powers while in Granite mode really drain your endurance to the point where its noticeable? If the answer is yes, there is a problem with the build's enhancement slotting.

That said I never ran granite on my stone tanking hami. Usually have more than enough buffs to get around it. But like Ig said even the penalties of it aren't really that much. Especially with a slotted taunt + ranged attack.

oh, I meant letting someone ELSE hold aggro. You know, if you're a lowbie brute with no way to really survive Nosferatu and there's another brute that CAN handle him but has no taunt. That makes things really frustrating

Personally, Ive never been on a lowbie broot with no way to really survive Nosferatu when there's another brute that CAN handle him but has no taunt AT A VILLAIN HAMIDON RAID.
