I'm not looking for total invulnerability; it looks as if Stone grants just that-invulnerability.
And based upon all the /Stone /Shield /Wp Tanks and Brutes, it seems as if most other sets are worthless.
And this is even paramount 40+ where everyone is looking for a stone tank/brute/
Does Stone grant the same defensive bonuses? Not trying to start an "OMG nerf Stone" Hijack but it seems as if its performing better than a set, that simply by name alone should perform better.
Again I have a Fire/Fire Tank and Brute so I havent played any other Tank Brute set that high(27 Invul/Em tank and various low teen Brutes) so I wouldn't know the differences in either.
This is simply a demographic observation upon returning to the game that before, was prevalent with Invu tanks for those "OMG we need a Tank for this mission"
Granted I know that other STs and added powers/debuffs have lessen the need for the typical tank/mage/DPS set up and I'm rambling at the end of the day

fairy aura: causes all people near you to be become incoherent with rage making them forget to guard -deff

I'll second that opinion. I have a SA brute and yes, he is extremely tough at 42-44% Def and 88% resist to smashing/lethal while in Granite form. However, my WM/SD and SS/SR brute can be the lead in any level 54 AE boss or Recluse AV farm just as effectively.
